Why do we think we have pratibha?

Why do we talk about BD talents? There is little to none. I do not think any of the current BD players can make any other test team except for Rafique. Even Rafique may be considered as a "has been". You might also argue about Mashrafee, but no team will take chance with him given his history of fragility. Face the fact that we do not have talents. To convince youself, try to name a pace boweler after Mashrafee, Shahadat and Rassel. You cannot. We do not have depth. Consequently, wehave no chice but stick with out-of-form or out-of-favour palyers. But look at English team they have credible pace attack even after their frontline bowlers are sidelined by injuries. Look at SL and be amazed by the 2nd and 3rd line bowlers accomplishment against our 'talented' batsmen.

i am forvever criticising the bangladeshi cricket team. i do so because i feel as if, they are my own people and it matter little if i criticise them.

some of the points you have made are correct but i disagree with the lack of talent in the present context. the team has lost almost 95% of all matches it had participated in. however, the stats don't take into account of the true facts. give it ten to fifteen years, bangladesh would be where india is right now in the cricketing spectrum.

as for england, a team i have supported for twenty years now, all seems well on the surface. dig a little deeper to get the real story
