Where do you see that I said Powell endorced Obama him simply because Obama is black? Actually I think of Powell much worse than a racist. He is responsible for the death and suffering of lots of people. I aslo didn't said be endorced based on immotion. I said its a calculative move by a greedy person to revive his career.
true, however it may be (not necessarily, but perhaps) that his concsiounce is catching up to him. when powell signed up for the job back in 2000, there was no nine-one-one and it may have been possible that he wasn't told about plans to invade eyerakistan. sure, he coulda bolted at first notification, but remember the guy was, if he still isn't already, a republican. he can't just abandon the party unless he's a ron paul or pat buchananon type maverick to begin with (notice mccain is not really a maverick, those guys are republican mavericks, mccain just has a different personal history). at any rate, it may be now that powell is or will become an independent. he said that majority of republicans are cool with this inherent anti-muslim bias, and the first thing that black people notice in america is racism or biggotry of any kind. they may tolerate it against "the man" but they won't tolerate it against perceived weak minorities.

just as lieberman left the democrats to become a pseudo-republican indie, powell might well be turning into a pseudo-democrat indie.

That Obammercial had like 2 minutes of information and 28 mins of "hey look how bad things are" ... I guess it will touch some people... but most of us already know how bad things are... I myself would have preferred that he talk more about what he wants to do about it and why he thinks his actions will help the economy.

Ultimately, this thing was a waste of money... but I guess he has money to burn. He's way ahead in polls... even accounting for Bradley effect, this election is not even gonna be close.

Default Palin Pranked by Sarkozy Impostor

Two well-known Canadian pranksters tricked Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin into thinking she was on the phone today with French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The conversation, captured on a Montreal radio program, was, in a word, embarrassing.

This prank worked because of Drooling Zardari. Some of the comments were offensive and she took it on the stride, lol.

This could be really useful in election night...

Google's Election
A great resource: the last 7 presidential elections, broken down by county, shown in both Google Earth
(http://mw2.google.com/mw-earth-vectordb/gallery_layers/election2008/elections.kmz)
and
in Google Maps (http://maps.google.com/help/maps/elections/#historical_results).
Tons of other tools are here: http://www.google.com/2008election/.

Its surprising how people in large swaths of America's heartland, in God fearing states like Kansas, Wyoming, Idaho hate Obama to the core, labelling him anything from terrorist to the AntiChrist.....

anyone who believes that fixing the problems of the last 8 years involves using the EXACT same policies of the last 8 years is either extremely stupid or has been making a killing the last 8 years.

actually its both!

Add them up and I think they have less population than Dhaka.

Hard to imagine, after so much corruption (openly known), we still elect the corrupt BNP, BAL, JI, JP leaders. Same reasoning. Party affiliation and not trying to accept the truth (ignorance).

Thumbs up Obama win in 1st voting

source: cnn.com
Quote:
DIXVILLE NOTCH, New Hampshire (CNN) – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama emerged victorious in the first election returns of the 2008 presidential race, winning 15 of 21 votes cast in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire.

People in the isolated village in New Hampshire’s northeast corner voted just after midnight Tuesday.

It was the first time since 1968 that the village leaned Democratic in an election.

Obama’s rival, Republican John McCain, won 6 votes.
