Deb: "The test series between SL -WI was drawn recently due to Batting friendly wickets. Hope the same does not happen. Not a good Advertisement for Test Cricket " It's been even more dull than that series, because at least those pitches started out bowler friendly before flattening out. This one could still surprise us by taking drastic turn on days four and five though. And you can never rule out a dramatic collapse or two from either of these sides.
This was my response which remains unpublished:

"Why is it when Bangladesh does well either causing opponent's collapse or scoring mammoth partnership that suddenly it is not "good advertisement for cricket"?

"Test cricket doesn't need advertisement. It's not as if Papua New Guinea is raring for a precious slot."

Should have added how if Bangladesh collapsed the same would have said.

And if anyone wants to get their stress out check out this rant by someone on reddit:

And then there are fans who "just sit there and take it, like good little boys!"

Refreshing to see we will bat them out of the game. Although draw is very likely possible, our boys will be buoyed by the first innings score and might strike early with track might offering turn progressively.

We have lost interest in the team. Hence, no more match threads.
Most of us were teenagers when we started following this team. An era has come and gone and we are now Dads and Grandads but our team is still the same. We have begun to realize that following our team is a waste of time and a bad investment.

An era has come and gone and our superstars are soon about to retire and BCB has learnt nothing over the years. There are no players in the pipeline to replace our suferstars. A team were forever benched. Most players were forgotten.

What BCB have learnt is how to become corrupt and appoint multiple matabbors who fill their pockets.

Bangladesh spinners are completely garbage. There is no point making spin friendly wickets. I mean we have let bunch of debutants chase down 400 runs.

You have spoken the truth. No one cares about this team anymore. I am surprised they are able to get sponsors still. Few more L's and I think sponsors will get tired of them too eventually.

And the brands are becoming more obscure

104.4•
Taskin to Angelo Mathews, no run
beauty. Quick length ball, hitting the pitch on a good length on off stump, and straightening off the deck to beat Mathews' outside edge as he presses forward to defend. Wait, what! Ultra Edge shows a spike as ball passes bat, but no one appealed!
-----
Why is this a thing?! In ameture cricket, we appeal anytime the batsman misses the ball while playing at it. If for nothing else, it keeps the intensity up.
Noticed it at least twice this series.

I am happy for Taskin. A player who worked hard on his game and fitness after being dropped and he is reaping the fruits of his labor.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto, 2 ducks in a row after that 163. Played like a true Bangladeshi cricketer
