I am probably the biggest Roddick fan here. But realistically he has a very slim chance of going past the third or fourth round. He has no weapons on clay.

This is the first time since 2007 and only the eighth overall.

so nadal's streak has ended, this might be federer's only chance to win roland garros, wonder whether it'll inspire him or make him a muppet. ivanonvic, last years ladies winner, lost as well so fun fact both of last years winners lost on the same day.

It be fitting, it be the 10 year anniversary of Agassi Completing the Slam for Roger to do it and there is another Trend that it may be an American players turn to win the French as Well. Chang, Agassi, Roddick?

The courts are playing more like a Hard Court from what I've Seen, but I haven't watched that much.

Looking forward to a Serena-Safina clash. Serena's pi$$ed and Safina's out to prove herself. If she chokes again, Serena will come closer to being "proven right". Talk about pressure and drama!

On the men's circuit, FedEx ATW!

Man the US coverage of the French Open is getting worse year by year. Now they show most of the matches on espn360.com instead of a normal channel! pathetic!

I got the Tennis CHannel Free Preview this month,it was great, they did a split screen of Federer/Monfils and Serena/I forgot who she lost too. Very good stuff from them.

It won't be easy for Fed as Soldering is clearly underdog here.

YES Fed makes it 14 with his first French Open Title. Congrats !!

As if the entie tournament was shrewdly manipulated to ensure Fed wins the title. With all the top seeds vanishing before the semis, Fed was left with poor SOD to beat, he couldn't do anything but beat him in style, in straight sets.

WOW, it was a great final to watch but quiet one sided affair.

Really pleased for the man...He thouroughly deserves it...I thought this day would never come...Specially after the hiding he got from Nadal last year...He has been persistent and kept on making it to the final...If it wasnt for Nadal he would actually have 19 Grand Slams right now!!...His consistency in Slams is second to none...I would rate him higher than Pistol Pete...A true legend and the greatest tennis player to play the game...Like McEnroe said 'In the modern game you are either a grass court specialist or a clay court specialist or you are Roger Federer' !
