Umm, I actually expect our own umpires to be worst to have in our games.

It's not bad umpiring as much as gutless, brainless play ... dropping catches, bowling dross at powerplay and then playing out dot-balls in our PPs ... that's why we are losing

Two more bad decisions against us yesterday:
1. LBW out of Cook not given (bowled by Rubel), although it didnt prove that costly
2. Out of Aftab. Many people may disagree but that was not out. No doubt that was a very poor shot by Aftab, but a wrong decision against us anyways.

Unfortunately some decisions go for you, some don't. It may seem more are going against you at the moment, but you are overlooking a very poor decision for Trott's dismissal, and arguably Carberry's that could have gone either way. Cook's was understandable, it did seem to going across him on the angle and beating off stump, or pitching outside leg stump, a fair assumption as there had been no movement at all and form Rubel to pitch it on the stumps from his angle to beat Cook and be hitting the stumps, it all seemed like a far reach.
I think it did flick Aftab's glove, cannot say that without any doubt, but I do think it flicked the glove.

I understand some will go in our way and some against. But in this series a number of calls went against us including couple in 3rd ODI.
I have nothing to say about what you think about aftab's out. However, i would believe my own eyes, commentator's comments, cricinfo bulletin over your ovservation. Thanks.

Shakib's out in the 2nd innings was a terrible decision.

Sakib's out was a terrible decision once again. However, does Sakib have to sweep so much, so early against spinners all the time? In NZ, as soon as Vettori introduced himself, he started to sweep him. It clicks for him a lot because he is a great sweeper. I don't ask him to stop doing that, but it is always better to get your eyes in first before you start sweeping spinners. When you are playing across, there is always a higher risk for LBW's. Some discretion early is a better proposition. Why give them ( spinners ) the unnecessary chance that early in an innings?

Agreed. Hopefully he'll get some runs in the Dhaka Test. Like maybe a double century.

I fear the partnership might be broken tomorrow by a bad umpiring decision as opposed to a mistake from one of our batsmen. Then again, the new ball will be a challenge. Mushfiq and Nayeem did see it off the other day and wearing out the bowlers as well as the ball will be the key again tomorrow.

it was not conclusive from the vdo, umpire was at the best place to judge whether the ball hit the bat or gloves. it sucks but unless there is a snicko meter or something, we really cant tell it did not hit the bat/glove. Either way, these umpire SUCKS big time.

Well, it's BCB's fault for not using UDRS. Both teams are getting bad decisions in this series, not only us.

If you are not sure, you can't just give bats man out. Umpire SUCKS big time all right.

These umpires disgust me...if they could refer Shakib's incidence (ball to ground to Cook's shin guard to WK) to 3rd umpire why couldn't they do it in Tamim's case especially knowing how big a decision it would be in the context of the match...If ICC really cared about growing the popularity of cricket, wouldn't it make more sense to take a strong stand on referring these close calls particularly when they seem they could easily turn the match. Hind sight is 20-20 but just imagine if Tamim had stayed on for another hour and added another 30/40 runs which he's fully capable of, with a lot less pressure on the new batsmen, things could've turned out even better for us may be even taking the game away from England by 2nd day's end. Another pathetic display of umpiring (at crucial moments) by Tucker and Co.

UDRS has to be setup by the broadcasting company. You do know that UDRS Costs in crores, right?
Despite everything, the umpires deserves no leeway due to not having UDRS. UDRS is not a tool for umpires. It's a tool for players. It really can't be an excuse for the shoddy umpiring both against and in favour of Bangladesh.
