Also proves our only strength is our ginormous population. Doubt SL could warrant so much despite being world champs and having way more wealth on a per capita basis.

This probably has more do with their involvement in Bangladesh as opposed to China's interest in cricket.

Exactly my point, China with zero cricket interest, still has companies willing to throw money to BD cricket hosting the least watchable side in the world (IMO, SL are least watchable side but ZIM and current PAK are up there as the most boring tuk tuk sides around). Its only because we have a huge population. Remember even ZIM has beaten AUS this year while we've lost to everyone and anyone.

Cricket will survive in countries like PAK and BD no matter how much they suck despite the Big 3 capitalism at play. SL, ZIM, NZ would never get such sponsorships no matter how good they are.

300k for co sponsoring, wonder how much for full sponsorship or how much Sahara is payin .
