just before this series many of us were concerned about Gazi's form, look at what he did with the ball.
From his debut test he has been proving himself as a wicket taker at this level.
We are really lucky.
And I hope after his ton he will take batting seriously, hope it's not a one time Abul type innings.

now abul's bowling may be bad but thats not right, after his century he hasn't shown anything to consider thats a fluke

We don't need Gazi to turn into a super star all rounder who can bat very well. We need him to be our main spinner who can be a decent #8 and average in the mid twenties.

As long as Gazi can hold his own with the bat and perform with the ball, I'll be happy with him. Since he came in, he's performed when the team needed it the most which is the most important thing.

30 is pretty high for a bowling all-rounder, anything between 21-25 is pretty good. If gazi averages 30 plus then I think he can be considered as batsmen

Sohag Gazi scored a century and took a hat-trick in the same Test last week - has anyone ever done this before? asked Shashank Bhavaraju from India
Sohag Gazi, playing for Bangladesh against New Zealand in Chittagong last week, was the first man to score a century and take a hat-trick in the same Test: seven others (Johnny Briggs, Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, James Franklin and Stuart Broad) have managed both at some point in their careers, but not in the same game. There have only been 13 other instances in all first-class cricket - and the last of these was also by Sohag Gazi, for Barisal in a domestic match in Khulna in October 2012. The only other man to have achieved the feat twice is Mike Procter, for Gloucestershire in 1972 and 1979.

I gotta give a shout out to ma mayne, Gowza, who was always a big fan of Mike Procter. The fact that he did what Gazi did twice, albeit in domestic matches, is just legendary. It could be a great selling point for anyone who ever wanted to include Procter in their all time XI.

Thanks Procter was an astonishing player and what Gazi has achieved is incredible.

The way Gazi is showing his bowling plus batting he has a great chance of becoming our next world class player after Tamim and Shakib.
