Well said Mushy... you have already had plenty of practice by giving so much "Hard time" to your fans. Now it is time to put that experience to good use.

i think people need to chill on mushy. hes not a completely fluent english speaker and from this i get the feeling he's just talking the standard press conference talk. but im sure deep down inside he knows his team will kick the windies ***!

I'd like to simplify couple of sentences here:

1. We can give them hard time --> We can Beat them
2. We have to give 200% --> We have to double our effort

First sentence is very diplomatic and gave opponent’s full respect to their weight. Second sentence is something "military” type word, to boost someone’s morale. I believe professional trainers use this word to psychologically boost your inclination to work harder.

Really not seeing the point in so much criticism

By saying stuff like these, isn't he just taking pressure off themselves? That is a good move IMHO.

True. If he said we would go to semi final by beating those teams, that would have sounded delusional since we lost to Hong Kong of all opponent.

don't defend someone for the sake of defending and you are reading between the lines too much...fans want to see their team win and it is cowardly of a player to tell the fans to not have any expectations...then what's the point of sport? when you play cricket with your buddies do you merely go through the motions or do you play to win? if you find yourself going through the motions then maybe cricket is not your thing and you should go do something else...i am sick and tired of BD team's losing mentality...they really need to have their heads screwed properly....this team lacks inspiration and self-belief at the moment...some things just need to changed because at the moment nothing seems to be right...

Mushi looks like the World's greatest illusionist.

The closer you look at him, the more you get confused.
