The commentator on Bangladeshlive was asking "Why did all other Bangladeshi batsmen not play as wisely as Mashud, instead of attempting big shots against second team in the world?"
Hopefully they will do that in the second test, preventing another innings defeat and giving significance to Bangladesh test-status.

Second last match? Dude,, Mashud is going nowhere and neither is Bangladesh cricket. Again Mashud proves no matter how many Mushfiq/Selim/Saghir comes,, Mashud is the only cricketer Bangladesh can be proud of.. He is the Wall of Bangladesh cricket.

Excuse me, we did lose the match (or didn't we?).
The showing of Mashud today humiliates the other experienced batsman in the team, nothing more.
And ofcourse, to us fans, it was a satisfactory performance from at least 2 players - who enjoyed sometime out in the middle themselves, as well as gave us some fun for the very brief period that they were in, today.

Did you expect to win against England? Any of us who did,, we were just living in fool's paradise. So yes, you didnt lose an innings and 100 runs or maybe 10 wickets, we were going to lose and there was no doubt about that.
Khaled Mashud has proven again and again why he is the wall for Bangladesh cricket. Its not for the fans he does his job,, its for the fact of enjoying the game and taking it professionally. It doesnt humilate other players, it should inspire them. It also shows that we do have players in the team who can play Hoggard, Harmison easily. Cricket is a funny game,, West Indies is also losing by margins ( barring the current one) and its okay but only when Bangladesh loses it becomes such a competition of who wrote the most insulting commentary. And we fans, as emotional as we always are, just start calculating whom to drop and whom to include without giving a fair chance to the cricketers about the condition, competition and the admittance that, in fact we are not a top test nation. We need to start realizing that.

Here is an article from bbc site:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/4589637.stm
This is what I think is the most important part of it:
-------------------------------------------------
"It is for the tourists to make amends and show some fight.
It is one thing not to be technically good enough to make a fist of it at this level, but there are many things you can do to help yourself.
Gifting your wicket through impulsive rushes of blood is something that should be controllable.
Dav Whatmore - Bangladesh's long-suffering coach - has lost count of the times he has urged his young charges to show some responsibility.
Khaled Mashud, who top scored with 44 on Saturday, showed exactly the right approach.
Hopefully he will thoroughly have ashamed his reckless team-mates who were watching from the dressing room. He batted bravely and, importantly, within his limitations.
Even the number 10, Anwar Hossain Monir, tried his best as the pair put on 58 runs together. It just shows what can be done with just a little discipline."
