Aus vs BD 5 Match T20I Series, August 2021
Aus is without Warner, Smith, Maxwell, Stoinis, and now Finch : https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/w...-looms-1270940
We will be also without Tamim and Mushfiq (and Aminul), but neither has been all that successful in T20I so far to begin with.
Aus Squad Visiting WI
What's your expectation from the series?

BD is still on the way to defend the low total, surprising that Banglacricket forum is still not happy to discuss abt cricket!

Well done BD , esp without your top 3 players. We somehow pulled it off.
Meanwhile, reliance on spin continues!

Good win. I thought 130 wasn’t enough but Aus had no idea how to play our spin.

Almost no one could time the ball in this pitch. There was also turn.. and somehow Starc also managed to generate reverse swing in a 20 over game... All in all, a hellish surface for technically deficient T20 hard-hitters.
I really want Naim to open the batting in all formats. He is better than the other over-hyped openers (Sadman, Saif etc). I also want Sohan to keep wickets always. He can read the game very well and make much better suggestion to the bowlers. After watching the recent domestic T20 series, Sohan has improved a lot in batting too... I really dont want to see mushfique keeping. In Bangladesh, however the big-brothers rule... "senior bhai bole kotha".

Great win without Rahim and Tamim. These senior guys should pick one or two formats anyway, to give chances to others.
I always thought Afif would be good for this format since I saw him play in the BPL.
Nurul was always going to be the no.1 keeper. Sad that it takes a pandemic to keep a glove-hog like Rahim away.
