Default BPL5 Match 13-14 | KT Vs DD, CV Vs CV | Nov 14

Tamim set to return today
Quote:
Tamim Iqbal will return to action today when his side Comilla Victorians take on Chittagong Vikings in today's second match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)

It is however not yet certain whether Tamim will take the reins immediately, and it may be that Mohammad Nabi will continue his stopgap role today.

Dhaka should bring back Mehedi Maruf and Kumar Sanga.

Drop Jahurul and Pollard

Another loss coming for KT I fear. DD is too damm strong. And KT is missing a solid spinner.

I wonder who CHV will drop for Tamim...I am guessing it will be Alok. They should drop Arafat for Enamul Jnr.

KT should take Nazmul off opening.. makes no sense to put him there When Klinger and Rossow are in the squad.. lineup should be,

and hope DD brings back Maruf and Sanga in place of Jahirul and Pollard

Dhiman Ghosh what a rubbish cricketer.

Scored 2 runs from 9 balls and no it's not unplayable pitch or bowling. Just clueless batting

Maybe it’s the first time, hence trying to start with a small amount then more next year, as there will a 250+room 5star hotel near the Stadium about 10mins drive, will be available. So there won’t be any issues trying to get into hotels in the city centre (which is chaotic at times), because the hotel will be walking distance.

Location of Sylhet probably will he the best in world cricket. If you consider Airport, Stadium, Hotel within 10mins uninterrupted, hassle free drive from each other and in same area, road. No hassles whatsoever. Plus this area near aiport is highly protected, posh, expensive, planning going on for only proper planned stuffs to he built.

Shanto is another guy who has made his tram struggle. He is not like most batsman, relies on more grafting and slogging when he is set

Dhaka wicket is the worst

The uneven bounce never helps. CTG and Sylhet wicket are much better.

I also don't get why instead of rest days some matches are held in Fatulla. Fatulla wicket is flat and ideal for T20

why we call this tournament BPL?, we should just call it DPL 2 and play ODI. this is a travesty of T20 cricket

this mirpur black clay wickets are not suitable for T20, we should just play ODI and test here

Do you know why Comilla struggled last season? They played a guy named shanto who strikes at 100-105 on a good day and hence they struggled to score much runs. This time Comilla played Liton and Buttler both aggressive batsman and doing well at the top order.

Khulna has struggled every time in the top order and coincidentally we have shanto batting at the top order. Needless to say he has failed and put his team at a poor position once again

We should play more matches in CTG Sylhet Khulna Fatulla. Not only will there be better crowds but also more runs.

Hasn’t Papon got any work to do? Always watching games from the aram aram vip zone. It makes sense it it was semis and final. This guy just chills all the time.

Shanto still has lots of areas to improve. and yet some people here advocating for him to be included in our ODI team.

His timing is way off. He doesn't have the strength to cover up that issue (Few does. Unless you are polard, gayle or Maccullam). Situation was similar during last BPL also.

He can be included in our Test team atm. Nothing else. Throwing him into the shorter format of game like some people want here will ruin his career.

He should be playing ODIs or Tests next year but not T20s for some time.

The thing is ODIs and T20s are quite different

But our major flaw is a lack of domestic T20 tournament for locals where Shanto can find his groove in T20s. Every other team has it but not Bangladesh. BCB planning to do it

Yeah I'm not sure 5-6 R.P.O is actually test cricket

Test cricket is what Misbah plays in BPL. Guy plays some defensive strokes and gentle dabs in the latter overs

Ditto.

I was shocked when Chadwick Walton was dropped. He scored a good runs at a good rate in the first few matches
