GIBBS GONE!!!
Tapash strikes with the last ball of his first over. Excellent over ends with the superb wicket of Gibbs. Great start for Bangladesh.

Read the thread titled "Bombshell: Pilot dropped"
South Africa 47 for 1 after 10 overs. Tapash got hit a bit but Monju is steady as ever. The fielding however has been very good, led by Kapali at point.

ATTITUDE COUNTS
"We HAVE TO win today"
That's what the 11 Bangladeshi cricketers are thinking at the moment. This is exactly the way they will be thinking on 6th August in Darwin, Australia.
"WE GOT TO WIN THIS ONE"
Attitude counts.
Attitude make all the difference.
Oh yeah

BLUNDER!!
Khaled Mahmud completely screwed things up by bringing himself on for the 48th over. He had bowled 3 overs before this for 20, and he has just been hit for another 20 in the over. So he has given away 40 runs in 4 overs. With Monju, Tapash and Sanwar all with overs left to bowl, this was an absolutely terrible decision to bring himself back on.
It seemed at one stage that SA would score around 240 maximum. Now they are on 243 with 8 balls still to go.

262 to win for Bangladesh!
Again, we gave away 20 runs too many in the slog overs. Actually, the last 5 overs cost us 53 runs, thanks to a 20 run over by Khaled Mahmud. With better bowler management, we should have kept them to under 250.

Bowling
Monju, Kapali and Rafiq were the best bowlers for Bangladesh today with figures of 0 for 38, 2 for 40 and 0 for 42 respectively off their 10 overs. Sanwar bowled well as well, picking up two wickets for 40 off his 8. Tapash picked up the early wicket of Gibbs but then got tonked around for 57 off his 8 overs. Sujon bowled 4 overs for 40.
Sanwar should have been kept on for another over, and then Monju and Tapash should have bowled the last four overs. Replacing Sanwar with Monju in the 46th over was plain stupid. Sanwar should have bowled the 46th, and then Tapash 47th and 49th and Monju 48th and 50th. And we could have easilly avoided that 20 run over. Sanwar was doing just fine, giving away 6 or 7 an over.
None of our captains know how to handle our bowlers in the slog overs. All of them manage to screw it up somehow.

Once again, if we can bat 50 overs, I'll be happy. If we do manage to bat 50 overs, chances are, we will score more than 200. Bowling was very impressive till the last 5 overs. Actually, there were just two bad overs where SA got 35 runs. And the ground fielding I would say was pretty good, especially Kapali, who is proving that he is right up there with the best in the world at the gully/point area.

WE GOT TO WIN TONIGHT
That's how the Bangladeshi players are thinking at the moment.
Although chances were a lot better last night, however, our cricketers will do their best.
Habibul_fan, please don't underestimate the team. Keep watching to see 2 Bangla half centuries. One by Mehrab, the other one I am not sure yet, possibly Akram Khan.
Shahid, you and I are real fighters. People like us are WINNERS, no matter what. I know, reality is on the opposite direction - so what?
WINNERS ARE ALWAYS WINNING!!!

That was a good question H_fan.
You invest $100,000 and start a business today. How much money will you make in the 1st year or 2nd year?
You need to have some patience. Just need to see the OVERALL pattern. Is it a winning pattern or a losing pattern?
Now you tell me.
