Default Bangladesh A Team & skipper Tushar Imran

Middle-order batsman Tushar Imran will lead the Bangladesh A team, which was announced by the Bangladesh Cricket Board yesterday, for the first four-day match against the visiting Zimbabwe A at Rajshahi starting from March 17.

The Board announced the 13-member squad after short-listing a 25-member preliminary list.

The second-string southern African team will play another four-day match against their Bangladesh counterparts at Bogra from March 23-26. The two sides will later meet in a five-match limited-over series at different venues across the country.

TEAM
Tushar Imran (captain), Nafees Iqbal, Rashedul Haque, Ehsanul Haq, Mazharul Haque, Nasir Uddin Faruque, Mohammed Salim, Jamal Uddin, Alamgir Kabir, Enamul Haq Jr, Shahdat Hossain, Faisal Hossain, Gazi Alamgir.

Good to see Nafees Iqbal, Enamul Haq Jr, and Shahdat Hossain are in the team. Where is Talha by the way?

Talha is still recovering from Injury, isn't he? I hope Nafees finally cashes in his chance of scoring some big runs ahead of our Windies tour. We have a hole in our opening spot, he might just strengthen his claim with a few more big knocks.

i think it is a great opportunity too. because our players really need some international level exposure. and playing against test cricketers will really make them more experienced and they will probably improve their techinque. i hope nafees will be consistent here. then he might have a chance in the west indies tour. atleast in the one days. but i am not sure about enamul though. because if rafique is taken and rana is already in than there is not going to be any place for enamul because west indies pitch is probably a fast boling pitch so we might not need that many spinners anyway.
