Default Carribean Cusine

OK, looking for new and exciting recipies to cook up as we take on our WI friends on the field of battle.

First up is Curry Goat aka "curry goat match"

Needed:

1 goat, slaughtered and chopped into stewable pieces,

1 lb assorted Indian/Trini spices

1/2 lb cooking oil, corn preferred

1 sack of onions

1/2 sack of potatoes

Rum, none of that coconut sh__

2 coconuts while we are at it

the WICB XI

de boy manjural islam rana and his wicked spin

Instructions:

Lose the toss and send in WICB to bat first. Put the oil on the cauldron and throw in the sack of onions, the Trini spices. Turn up the fire by introducing rana into the attack. Throw in the Indian spices (couldn't find any fresh Bangladeshi spices on St. Vincent). Stir it up. Add the damn goat and then de potatoes. Skittle out the WICB for 135 and take an early taste of the curry goat. Go into bat, reduce intensity to simmer and stumble through 41 overs in your chase. While hitting Jermaine Lawson all over, keep on stirring. If you are Bashar (the real Habibul), then the ball is looking like a big coconut by now. Toss in a couple of coconuts into the curry. Finally, when the WI bowlers get a sniff of it and want to come over, finish the stupid run chase. Bring all of the boys over for a party.

Oops I forgot the rum, well it will just have to be drunk with the curry goat then.

I am glad everyone liked this recipe and let me know how it turns out...

OK, up next is duck curry. Duck curry is especially liked by certain bangladeshi top order batsmen after a hard night of partying on st. vincent. Duck curry is something you might have to eat if you had any of that goat curry and rum the night before.

So, WI2debone, please give us the Duck Curry recipe. At the end of the series, we'll publish a tour cusine book and all get rich!
