Ah I was about to say that. Although not a flowing river, swimming in the Kaptai lake was one of the best swimming experiences of my life.

As longs you're dealing with waves and undercurrents, it's all good bro.

Absolutely right. Different results can be achieved by minor tweaks like altering the weight category, no. of sets, repetitions, the intervals etc.

Nasir for me. Nasir has been very consistant but i have a feeling that root may catch up with him.
The kusal guy is a different kind of player. Kusal plays at a time when he can hit freely and Nasir has to play under pressure always.

If I were Nasir i would have felt robbed. In the last 1 year, Nasir has done a lot more than shakib has done. Heck, shakib was injured in a large number of matches. If you consider BPL then it would have been fair though

Early days for Root and Kusal Janith. Need to continue their good job. To add to that, Tests matter too. Time will tell.
Predicting Nasir=Root>Kusal for the future. Chandimal and Williamson are far behind.

In my eyes (in 2 years time) Kusal> Nasir > Williamson > Root > Chandimal

nasir will be near the top of the pack, he's already there just needs to keep himself there. the others all have talent but i like the look of nasir better at current. in saying that chandimal will probably be an all timer for sri lanka (think it was mahela that said he'd score 10,000+ runs and you don't get those kind of words for nothing), williamson will at least average around 40 (i'm talking tests btw) not sure if he'll make it to the mid 40s or 50s to put himself as an all timer for NZ. kusal i've never seen play, has good numbers backing him though.

Nasir so far has been batting at 5 on down. Can't compare with a 3-4 like Williamson. Is Nasir a capable top order bat? We'll have to see.

There is no use of asking whether or not Nasir performs at 3/4. Some batsman are better of playing low down the order for the team's sake. Michael hussey throughout his LOI career has been batting at no. 6 which is low for a batsman of his calibre but he would do the job nicely for his team, more often than not.

I just don't see Nasir as a top order batsmen tbh. But i would be curious to see how he goes there. If he actual flourishes at the top then we can keep Riyad and draft in Shabbir in the lower order and get rid off deadweights at the top of the order.

Agreed. Respective roles for respective players. Had a short conversation with Nasir. He told that he is more comfortable playing the ball once it gets old. Prefers to bat after the 20 over mark.

Joe Root and Williamson has better techniques, Nasir is better than Kusal & Chandimal. I think overall it would be 1. Williamson, 2. Nasir Hossain, 3. Joe Root. I personally Think Joe Root might become a really solid player in the future, looks so promising.
