With upcoming election in mind, Modi brands himself as Chowkidar.

Seems like a cheap publicity stunt to me. Rahul aptly replied:

Quote:
Chowkidar chor hai

Crooked Netanyahu is on course to win his fifth term. SAD!

The option was between a super extremist right wing versus a little less extremist right wing. As it has been proven again and again, whenever voters are given two right wing options, they definitely choose the most right wing.

But there has been many minor accidents:

বারবার দুর্ঘটনার পরও বিমানবহরে ড্যাশ-৮

Biman really has a decent chance of being profitable even after the corruption.

They need to be on time, be creative with routes, have decent customer service and after sales and quick out snobbish air hostesses and stewards.

The direct London to Dhaka route could be a major market as its direct.

Also Arab to Bangladesh routes, even during Hajj times could be handled better.

Biman can be profitable with just one big step eliminate corruption. All these ineffeciancy is coming from one source i.e. corruption at almost all level. Control that, it will be more efficient and profitable. And yes, eliminate unproductive and unnecessary positions. Too many people are working for too few planes. There is no reason to lose money to in all major international flights.

And yes.... stop giving free business class upgrade to relatives and government officials ... try to sell those upgrades.... there is market for it.
