I dont know what people wants from Saifuddin. he is not going to be your strike bowler, its Rubel and Mustafiz's job. He is economical, getting some wickets and capable death bowler (very few we have). In top of it he knows how to bat at the lower end. over time, he will be better at hitting at the end, when needed.

He just start playing in the national team consistently. He have that confidence and fire in him. Give him time, he will be even better.

Saiffudin is like a Hardik Pandya or a Ben Stokes.

In an ideal world, we want him to become like them. But he has a long way to go still.

Saifuddin in end overs = critical

Big upgrade to Rubel and his 20+ runs 49th overs which hands opposition the advantage.

And he can bat as well as a bonus

saifuddin has come leaps and bounds mashAllah. Very smart with his bowling with changes of pace and seam positions. And on top of that he is very accurate. He is a direct swap with Mashrafe when Mashrafe does retire. Also Saifuddin has been one of our best limited overs domestic bowlers. He is in the XI guaranteed imo.

Need to replace Fizz with Rubel or Taskin imo. Fizz been very poor for some time now.

TBH its good that these guys can hold the bat, but 9/10 times their batting will not win us the game. I hope they concentrate on their bowling more in this WC..bowling will decide fate of the teams in this WC

You are right for specialized bowlers. But I think Saif and Miraj has the potential to shine at both end i.e. batting and bowling, so they should concentrate on batting also.

Plus for ODI we need our specialized bowler to know how to stay few overs and slog a bit. Nobody expecting from them a long innings, but few 4s and 6s in the last few overs can make a big difference (if they come to bat).

I have faith in Saif the batsman but dont have much faith on Miraz the batsman. In England, I will pick Saif over Miraz any day

Miraz is not a natural batsman by any means. And damn his frame is frustratingly weak. He should model himself as a very good bowler in conditions that suit him and a decent batsman that will be able to support the proper batsman at the other end more often than not. Bit like Jadeja/Ashwin (Ashwin is a pretty good batsman on flat decks)

He has a tendency to copy Pakistani players' celebrations. Before this he used to do Afridi's star man celebration.

Saif over Miraz for the WC unless conditions suit spin bowling.

Saif > Fizz as demonstrated in today's match!
Saifuddin also managed to hit the only 6 of the match and had the highest strike rate. Maybe Mamma doodh walla can learn batting from him.

As a bowler, he is not better than Fizz, but today he definitely was. Really impressed with his bowling despite his lack of pace. He just needs to cut down on those bouncers. They are not very good.

What I like about him is the hunger in scoring runs.

He is evolving as a player. He is a keeper and replacement for Mash.

Saifuddin is hungry. If a guy is performing like this in the world cup in all departments then the guy is destined to be a great player for us.

He is a true pace bowling allrounder. Something we have been craving for. Mash the batsman was always hit or miss.

Definitely, for the long term. Not just in ODIs, but in T20s also. He's going to be a fine limited overs player.
