Not so experienced, play T20s after long gaps, that also haven't played the big boys for long time
Self Belief is very low due to the first two problems above.

I want match gets washout now with Australia wins, giving Ireland a hope to stay in the tourney. At least 1 minnow needs to stay here.

Great, one decent game and now it's ruined by rain.

On a more serious note David lets me know the October monsoon is just setting in Sri Lanka, and this is not good news for the tournament. Also don't forget the Champions Cup that was washed out in Sri Lanka ended on September 30, which was roughly the same season. Not the cleverest bit of scheduling then.
The sheer incompetence

Is it true that the teams aren't carrying points into the Super 8s? Basically rendering matches like England v India a dead rubber today?

^ It seems ICC are trying everything to reduce compitiveness of this WT20.
This rule is somewhat good for minnows (qualified with 1 win only) though, gives them fair fighting chance for SF.

We should bat first, chasing against Pak is very difficult.

NZ need to kick it up a notch. They need to attack now. It will be hard to go after ajmal and afridi.

I've heard a lot about Rob Nicole's unconventional ways of getting runs. Let's see what he does.

Not a bad start 38 from 5. They need to keep going at this rate. McCullum and Taylor can pick upt afterward if they can stay in the middle for a little bit. I'm worried about Ajmal and Afridi, out of the 15 overs left, 8 of them will be bowled by these 2 guys.

NZ playing smartly here, saving wicket to increase the NRR. They dont need to win it now, messed it up when extra bowler chopping Guptil's pos didn't help them in 1st innings.

Dropping Guptil was a terrible idea. They didn't need that extra bowler. Franklin could have bowled more overs today.
