Why not a steady, platform-building one?

Two successive sensible innings from Ash?
Armageddon must be near.

I think that the fans here expects a bam bam innings from Ash and when he tries to protect his wicket and scores slowly, he is criicized for it, when he tries to bam bam an d throws away his wicket, he is blasted for it. I know that you fans are just hoping for an innings like the natWest series against England, where he blasted 94 quick runs off the likes of Harmison and Flintoff, but luck has not passed his way for a while. Erratic is the way he bats, even though he has tried a few times to be cool and watch the ball very carefully.

Zamir,
There's a big fight going on between the West Indian players and their Board over revenue sharing. The Windies players union went on strike over it for the series ; the strike has ended, but their Board has refused to pick the strikers.
Personally, I'm in favour of the revenue-sharing deal the players want, and think the Board will weaken it's position substantially if they lose the one-day series 3-0 to go with losing the Test series 2-0.

Anniversary time: This is our 200th ODI. It took us more than 23 years to reach that milestone.

The game will be hardly fought by WI...these WI players are trying really hard and after the defeat they will be furious and more eager to salvage the series and keep some hope. We need to play better than the first one. Three batsmen contributed and three bowlers contributed, if combine team effort is not present, it will be difficult for us to win tommorrow. I am expecting more contribution from the batsmen who did not perform on the first match. Spinners on the other hand should be careful about few players like Devon and Bernard. Probably they will do little better this time with footwork against spin. On the other hand, if Ashraful bowls that will be different dimensional attack.

Bangladesh is the biggest showoff in the world of cricket...talk with numbers, we are up there in world records as well...
given the context, i think Ashraful played fine
I like this ashraful because if he hangs around, he can up the run rate later...his 55 was VITAL to prevent a all too familiar top order collapse.
Ashraful has more strokeplay than Javed Omar...otherwise, Javed Omar was a fine batsmen too...
I don't mind an aggressive Ashraful either, as long as he is cautious and putting a price in his wicket, he is one of our best boundary hitters.

Our top order must have to play big innings, Sakib or Mahmudullah will not save our rear everytime.
Lets bring both series home boys!
