Where we went wrong:

1. Choosing Shahadat instead of Mosharrof. This turned out to be a key.
2. 18 wides! What can I say? This was the second most important.
3. Poor fielding.
4. Poor rotation of bowlers by the skipper.
5. Bowling the crappy bowlers at death.
6. Two bad LBW decision against us.
7. Poor run out of Riyad.

Thus, an inexperienced SL team beats us. Quite handily in the end.

In my opinion we lost the match due to

1) Too many Extras (18 Wides)
2) Shahdat Hossain (This guy should be jailed for 13.5 years for his performance today)
3) LBW of Samsur & Ashraful (Very Poor Match Officials)
4) Run Out of Mahmudullah (Mominul needs a crash course of CRICKET 101)

Weirdly, 1, 2 & 4 could have been avoided especially number 1 & 2 !!

gud showing bangladesh... was a tightly fought series.. Both sides were testing youngsters & bangla getting Nasir Hussain & SL finding Kusal Perera to be a permanent opener...

future looks gud for both sides..and in a year or two..Kusla, Angelo Perera & Chandimal will nicely ey replace the old guys when they retire..

Because with 4 overs to bowl - Shahadhat could have put all his eggs in his intensity basket - not knowing that he is a basket case himself. And he put death bowling at a new definition - a bowler's death - but he doesn't die! 99 lives he has.

It's easy to say that now, but it felt like an ideal situation for Nasir to be there then. Nasir and Rahim was doing good in those 2-3 overs. If he'd stayed there for 4-5 overs things would've been set for Riyad to finish it.

Nasir has been here. We got him since Asia Cup. What we got from this was bunch of Abuls.
