Riiiight . I took the abuse from Jets fans before our last game because I knew they would deliver and because all the news from the Pats camp told me they were NOT ready for the game. Welker was struggling to recover from his knee injury, our defensive captain was injured and the defense needed time to gel. What I'm hearing now is a lot more optimistic. Falcons dont stand a chance...
As the offense is still finding its groove, id say Pats 17 Falcons 10. Could be a blowout if Brady finds his mojo...

Its too early to predict anything.
But now a days Pats looks too vulnerable. They are not the same dominating team anymore. The way Pats are playing, there are too many teams who can beat them at any given day.
But yes, you will be fool not to take Pats seriously, even with their current condition.

Wrong thread But, Rangers won't be crushing anybody. It is a hope. Penguins rule the world and you know it.

Honestly, and you all are welcome to disagree, I think Romo is underrated. Of course, he's always been a choker so he'll never be one of the games 'true' greats, but he's a pretty good quarterback if you actually watch him play. His stats (as his 94.7 passer rating will show) arent too bad either. Now, you can tell me that the concept of a passer rating is flawed, and I'd agree with you, but it gives you at least the tiniest bit of an indication of his level of accuracy and decision making skills. Where he lacks is leadership...

Rarely a quaterback is rated by passer rating (what ever it is).
However "QB Rating" is more used in the media. And I am guessing his QB rating this year so far is pretty bad, and below average.
"QB Rating" also doesn't tell the full picture but more complete than passer rating.
Bono haven't shown yet that he can perform in key moments, rather he have shown that he chokes in key moments.

I am a ROMO fan but I will say he is overrated until he can prove himself in a big game. His QB rating is close to 74 in big games. His honeymoon period is over. He needs to produce now and prove that he is worthy of the big contract he got.

Figure skating, beach volleyball and syncronizing swimming are all good sports. Whenver I have a chance, I love to watch them performing.
These NFL running backs and receivers need some lesson from them how to dance after touchdown. Their celebration dance is ugly.

I'm confused. You do know that passer rating and QB rating are the same thing, right? Or is this just Fazal being Fazal?
And yes, Romo's passer rating has been below his average (but still pretty good compared to most quarterbacks) so far in the two games he's played. Thats mainly because of his last game against the Giants in which he posted a paltry 29.6. His first game's rating was 140.6 which is as good as it gets. Again, the rating is nothing more than a general indicator of talent and certainly not the sole measuring stick to judge quarterbacks by. Theres no point in having great stats if you have nothing to show for it on the wins column...

Man, the Pats just cant catch a break this year! Heavy rain predicted for tomorrows game. I'm worried Michael Turner will light it up. Oh well, at least Brady will be forced to finally put the ball in the hands of LoMo and Taylor. He'll have to wait one more week to prove himself...

Good game Pats. Mike Smith made some decisions today that made no sense to me. Oh well...

Any specifics? I couldnt spot any obvious mistakes.
Still cant believe Pitt lost to the Bengals. 2009 Bengals = 2008 Dolphins? In any case, these first three weeks of the regular season highlight just how useless preseason predictions are...

Baltimores looking pretty good this year. AFC North Champions perhaps? I would prefer facing them a little further along in the year when things start falling into place, but what can you do? I wouldnt be surprised if the Pats are staring at 2-2 by the end of next week. If Brady doesnt get his act together by then, we're toast...

Falcons down 16-10 in the 3rd quarter. We have the ball on the Pats 38 and up comes a 4th and 4. For some reason, we decide to punt the ball away to an offense that we hadn't been able to stop all day. That was our best chance in the 2nd half to take the lead and we just punted it away. To win on the road, you can't just play it safe...

1st, QB rating of 22? WT....
Raiders would have been in contention for division had Russell was benched. I saw first quarter. Two interception one when the ball was in own 1 yard line. What moranic play? Both under thrown. The second one the receiver wasn't looking under double coverage.
+++
Great to see Lions won one. Deadskins are embarrassing with their multimillion dollar roster.
+++
Farve wins one for the Vikings.

As excpted NYG and Ravens both won their game with complete dominance.
What a game by NYG.... Eli is playing his best so far this season... few mistakes...but leading the winning drive when ever needed .... to my surprise these young receivers are doing a very decent job ... I was expecting them struggle at the begining of the season..... they will get better and better as the season progress.
I am hoping big things from both of these two teams. Both are playing better after ugly wins in 1st week. That's what I am looking.... play better as the season progress... and in the mean time win games after games early in the season... that will make life easier later.
This season turning out to be such a great season. Go Giants ... Go Ravens !!!!!
