anyway I assume this newbie johnson in place of gayle will score his highest score against us.
He's uncapped... So even a score of 1 will be his HS.

Just hoping to see some good individual batting performances especially from Mushfiq and Mominul. Not expecting much more.

Hom did well enough with the ball at least to warrant another chance IMO. I think he definitely deserves another chance.

Anamul and Robiul should get a go.

He bowled well but compared to the WI pacers, he wasn't as threatening.

It's the same with our other bowlers. You can see the big difference with our bowlers compared to theirs.
They bowl to get wickets whereas ours try to contain the runs and hope for the batsmen to throw their wickets away.

If our attitude is this way, it'll be really hard for our bowlers to get wickets

Didn't agree with Hom's selection to begin with but why drop a guy after 1 match? At least give him the series. Rubel should have been first on the chopping block.

Word on the street is St Lucia may be a green top!

We already played 3 specialist bowler and 2 all rounders in Riyad and Hom in the 1st test. We shouldnt play 4 bowlers as it will make the tail very long. Imagine, Rubel, Al-Amin, Robiul, and Taijul being 8, 9, 10, 11. I also want Mushfique to give some more overs to Nasir who came into the team as a more bowling all rounder than even Hom.

3 bowlers plus part timers will mean that we wont even get 10 wkts let alone 20. Do you again want to see WI put up 500-600 runs and put our tired fielders to bat? Besides will that extra batsman really make any difference? With two spinners and two pacers we have a slim chance of bowling them out for 450

They'll want nasir as he got a ton in the practice match so they'll think he's in form, riyad will be selected for his 66 and hom selected for his bowling. Anamul in for imrul and robiul in for rubel or al amin (would prefer al amin play myself).

But I think batting hom at 8 is the wrong move, riyad should bat there as its his best spot and hom go up the order as I believe ultimately batting is where hom will end up contributing most if given proper chance with the bat. Anamul can bat 7 and keep and nasir can go in at 6 and mushy at 3, won't happen but I still hope it will.

I'll drop Rubel and bring Robi in,
I would like Bijoy to keep,Mushy & Momin bat at 3 or 4, Ryad at 5, Bijoy at 6, Nasir 7, Hom 8 .
If Mushy is keeping I want him to bat at 4, Bijoy at 6 as I don't think Bijoy can do well against the new ball , even in ODIs he struggles.

Bat first will be good otherwise we will be again batting with a WI total of 450+

The only thing I want out of this test is bat first and just may be see some good individual performances before we are bowled out. When WI comes to bat, turn off the stream. In case of batting collapse, turn off the stream. If WI bat first, watch an hour get bored and then turn off the stream.
