Default *** The official Mohammad Shahid Thread ***

Mohammad Shahid

Bangladesh

Full name Mohammad Shahid
Born November 1, 1988, Narayanganj
Current age 26 years 188 days
Major teams Dhaka Division, Dhaka Metropolis, Gazi Tank Cricketers, Legends of Rupganj
Also known as Mohammad Shoaid
Batting style Right-hand bat
Bowling style Right-arm medium-fast

He can be a good workhorse in pace bowling department for Test matches.

Bowled very economical in the first innings and wrecking havoc in the second. Considering he is without his senior partner, Bangladesh might have unearthed a good pace bowler. Is moving the ball on this dead pitch much to the delight of the Bangladeshi fans in the crowd.

He definitely deserves his own thread. A very good prospect. Need to handle carefully.

Definitely a exciting and talented bowler, first time watching him as I didn't get to see him bowl the first game. He's been giving it all this game, except that no-ball, he was great to see and is a must in future games

Even if he can't pick up wickets, he will keep it tight and for our standard that's very rare.

Definitely a gd choice for Test and perhaps in odi and t20.

Speed is not too bad. 130-135

Off season maintenance is very important for the pacers. We are terrible in this regards.

I like what I see from him. Definitely better than Abul, Rubel, and Shahadat in tests. His line and length and the ability to create chances out of nowhere is very delighting. Also can bowl long spells. Should keep him around the test team for sure, if not other formats.

Fastest 140 average speeds 130-135.

Better than robiul, shafiul, abul and shahadat no doubt.

Taskin, Mustafizur and Shahid with Al Amin as back up will be the best possible 4 for a test squad.

Fantastic with the new ball and has great discipline to keep things tight when the ball isn't doing anything either. Can be a great asset in LOIs as well.

Until player like Taskin, Mustafizur or equal not ready for test there is no way we going to win any test with top 8 period.

Good find. Just a peep into the bowling zones will reveal how good he is. All his deliveries are concentrated on a particular area. Doesnt spray around like many of our other guys.
