Rubel Hossain has no place in the BD T20I & Test team
Can someone explain to me how he gets selected for these formats when he is utterly rubbish at both?
Did he even do anything of note in any BPLS? Is he better performing bowling than Shafiul, Hider Rony, Abul, Abu Jayed. At t20s?
Just look at his bowling today. Omg. It was like Sunday pub cricketing stuff. So easy and typic short and short, length bowling at wrong time, and or full, no variation no craft to be a t20 bowler. His bowling may work in odis which is lot slower than t20s but at t20s he is a batsmens dream bowler to face, be like a perfect net seasion, batting hard hitting as many out the park!!
Less said about his Test bowling the better.

Yeah, has no place in those two formats. I think he keeps getting picked in t20s because he’s one of the better death bowlers in ODIs so selectors are thinking he’ll be good in t20s, and I think in tests they pick him for pace and experience.

It’s time for an analogy. Doesn’t apply to some of you cuz your momma picked your wife but here it goes:
It’s like ...
When you keep going out with a girl over and over even tho she’s crazy and ruins your life and you think you should explore other options.
BUT
There’s that off chance the others are just as bad and won’t work out either, so you just keep going back to what you know.
Sounds familiar? That’s basically how team selection works.

That's the perfect situation for a side piece

Why has he lost pace?
He is easily in the 130-135 range now.

So did taskin, for all the abuse taskin got during bpl, he didn't do that badly, am sure he was top 3 wicket takers for pacers in the season, Rubel is good at 50 overs death because ball is 20 overs old, in T20 he only gets like an over tops 2 with that sort of ball
Hider should be in the team, rahi was wayward and lot of his wickets were gifted

I thought he did okay in BPL. Probably why he was picked and he is sort of one of the 'seniors' in the team now. That's why we see him in all formats undeservingly.
