SS,
Given you are the king of 'pessimism' - you will never be happy with anything. You won't have any peace ever - no matter what you do or try.

What guys don’t understand about girls:
How the female mind works? And how you can never make sense of what she really wants or see her point of view?
Why do girls not get to the point?
When they do finally get whatever is bothering them off their chests, why do they play mind games? Assume guys have a crystal ball to ‘know’ what they on about?
Btw, Fab. Only beacuse i might miss all those nagging that comes with the package, probebly i will end up with one 'god send to earth' (as most of them think they are!) bengali girl! :S

Because of you guys regular ppl like us never get encouraged and that's why I posted this!! sorry for being rude

SS;
I think you are getting depressed by the scenario in the US. Jokes aside, if you are serious about changing your life, move out of where you are living right now. I am guessing that you are there for a job. The current circumstances in the US may not be conducive to immigrants with brown skin. If you ever consider moving to Canada, look me up. I might be able to help. In my limited ability, that is the best I can do.
Thanks

Ha Ha Ha ....
Reminds me of the "fox and sour grapes" story
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Fox and the Grapes
Once upon a time there was a fox strolling through the woods.
He came upon a grape orchard. There he found a bunch of
beautiful grapes hanging from a high branch.
"Boy those sure would be tasty," he thought to himself.
He backed up and took a running start, and jumped.
He did not get high enough.
He went back to his starting spot and tried again.
He almost got high enough this time, but not quite.
He tried and tried, again and again, but just couldn't get high
enough to grab the grapes.
Finally, he gave up.
As he walked away, he put his nose in the air and said:
"I am sure those grapes are sour."
Moral
IT IS EASY TO SCORN WHAT YOU CANNOT GET.

Thanks ghor_jamai for your offer. I appreciate that you kept in mind of hopelessness of certain group of people who struggling to survive due to the politics of corporate america. But still people like all of you guys who share the pain and also willing to help is enough for all these destitue and hopeless job seekers to get hope and move on. I didn't direct any comments to professionals(top engineers or docs) over here, i just wanted to share with my fellow mates who are suffering from the hursh reality of life due to their weaknesses or incapability in certain areas.
I believe this discussion is for many individuals who are going towards the fields following the steps of last generations abroad and obviously us. I believe majority of us study something that directs us to a stable and sound life. But we think about ourselves, our own families and its values rather than thinking combiningly to help each other in a society. We definitely need to think about our own life, but due to the tromendous increase in needs and requirements of this materialistic worlds we look for something that will bring happiness in our lives. I respect all professionals but I think we lacking the bondship and love for the world, the culture, the country as a whole.

Actually i thought the job market in the states was much better...
however, if you're talking about discrimination, and believe that's what's keeping you from getting a decent job, i'd say you might wanna seek fortune in Canada...

SS, here is a great idea. How about opening an "on-line" grave yard like the one in Pakistan. I know that Banani graveyard is pretty much filled up and they are no way technologially advanced like this one in Pakistan.
Just check this out. If succesful you may not need to think about career change again!

This thread has been careening from one topic to the next. Yet we are no closer to finding out what really ails SS (discrimination can only be an excuse, I am convinced), he is no closer to making that career change, in fact we don't even know what his present career is.
Some of you are quite bothered by how "shallow and ugly" Bengali girls are. That's amazing! Bangladeshi (or bengali) women are much more pleasant to look at when compared to their male counterparts. Bangladeshi men are in general horrible to look at, and as soon as we age past 20 (give or take 10 years) we resemble fat toads. Get your facts straight!
