Default "Rubel in minor injury scare"

Rubel Hossain found out that he had no reason to worry, or cry, after he was cleared yesterday of any damage to his injured finger.

The paceman reportedly shed a few tears after a Tamim Iqbal stinger hit the middle finger of his right hand during Sunday evening's practice session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

"I was really frustrated with the injuries I've been suffering. First it was my shoulder, then I hurt my back for which I missed the Zimbabwe series, and now it's the finger," said the soft-spoken Rubel.

"Now it is all good. I got the X-ray report from Apollo and I will be fine within a few days.

"I really got nervous," he admitted.

Way too emotional to open a thread on every thing that hits our dalies. I thought someone created a thread on WC news updates etc. if not then someone please do.
Unless it's a breaking news of some sort, openning a thread when one of the players scratches his you know what, is someone looking for nothing but attention.

i got scared reading the "allah malik" part in the title...unless the news deserves such dramatization please refrain from emotionally charged phrases in thread titles...almost gave me a heart attack.

i remember all to well, logging onto cricinfo on the eve of the last world cup and finding about Rana (may Allah grant him Jannat al Firdaus).

i don't want to ever experience that feeling again.

^^ When I read it, I read "Oh Allah Malik 'Rubel is in Danger'", totally skipped the no part. I was like here we go, they are trying to bring in Mashrafe bin Mortaza Kousik again

On a serious note, should we? Last time it paid dividends. Probably a 3-day retreat like before...

hey come on,he thought that even a little cut on his finger would categorize him as "severely injured" to make room for mash.he's right to be scared,if a person like mash who's played 2 WCs already(i think) can cry to play the WC,then y not this youngster?
