We'll see now what future Zim have.
Can Dav make them a working side tough to beat? Or will a reliance on Williams see them crumble?

Zim still fighting. Good on them. 11 of 13 needed. No Afridi yet.

Pakistan are the worst finishing team in history.
Any other side would've won this with 7 wickets and 20 balls left

Some positives for Zim as they fought the whole way.
But I dont rate Coventry at all (dat average) and Masakadza has one half decent knock per series then vanishes.
The rest dont seem all that good bar Williams who's a top player

Considering this probably one of their weakest teams fielded in their history, and almost ran Pak close on their home soil in fronts of thousands of screaming fans, I'd say this was a helluva good result.

Impressive batting by Zim today. Last two overs could have been better. 11 runs off 12 balls with so many wickets in hand.

You are confusing "performace" with "result". In odi and t20, "result" only care about win or loss; not shomman Jonok porajoy.
In top of that, this Pak team is very weak and trying to rebuild. So it's not a big deal to play so called good and lose against this Pak team.

I was just thinking the other day what a full strength ZIM side would look like - not that they will ever field a full strength side.
Raza
Hamilton
Ballance
Taylor
Williams
Ervine
Chakabva
Cremer
Panyangara
Jarvis
Chatara
Surprisingly they are only missing 3 players from the Test side. And factoring in that Ballance and Jarvis aren't very good ODI/T20 players - Jarvis is horrible - ZIM's limited overs side is pretty much the strongest they can field. Only Taylor missing, albeit he's 50% of their batting all by himself.
Left out Taibu since he has left for religious reasons.

To be fair thats a pretty strong line up IMO, better than the WI anyway.
While Dav remains as Zim coach they'll always be pretty competitive as he instils a good work ethic plus the players will actually enjoy playing unlike under Mangongo.
But with Zim you just know there's some crisis around the corner, although visits of Pakistan,India and the WI this summer should ensure they have enough cash to pay players for another while unless its all stolen.
Thing is in t20 their batting looks pretty good actually.
Masakadza can hit big, Williams is top class, Coventry might hit a quick little knock, then you have Chigumbura,Ervine as well. Not bad.
But their bowling is bloody awful, even worse than ours, and their one decent bowler Vitori has to be called for chucking soon, pretty much everyone agrees he's a chucker. Raza is NOT an allrounder yet he constantly picks wickets off of absolute rank deliveries, then Utseya lmao dunno what the hell he bowls.
Chataras good but injured, and IMO the only reason Panyangara is rated is because he bowls with a fast partner normally Chatara, take him out and you've got a whole line up of medium pace leaving Panyangara exposed
ODI's they'll struggle though, Williams is the only guy who I think has the ability to consistently last a reasonable amount of time at the crease, rest are pretty poor.
We should also factor in the outrageous flatness of Pak pitches, so maybe the Zim batsmen arent as good as they seem

Pak batsman have struggled on the same pitches. And Zim batters struggled on our flat pitches too. Blame Pakistan's fielding. I'm sure Zim could have been bundled under 150 each time.
And you forgot the most important factor: Zim start every series well, only to fall away once the opposition figure them out and start taking things seriously. Zim don't or aren't able to make any adjustments as a series progresses.
BTW, Panyangara is better than he gets credit for. Sure he's a wretched death bowler, but he opens well and most importantly he is quite good with the red ball. Chatara is good too and has some decent pace.
Vitori is a Pelter.

Is this the new team jersey? In that case only new look I see is: due to the design, their pacha looks bigger.
As the tour is progressing, PAK is slowly but surely taking control of their opponent. Doesn't look good for the ZIm team...alamot khubi kharap.

Utseya bowling is cheering me up. Makes me think I can still make it at int level.
The guy is literally taking 3 steps, darting the ball in and yet he's taking wickets
