Hello Guys/Bondhura - Hope everyone doing well.
First of all want to congratulate you on whitewashing (Banglawash or whatever that thing you guys say) Pakistan. Those were not mere wins but a complete anhilation of the opposition. Kudos to your team, great effort.
BUT, next series will be a completely different ball game. India is a very strong team and we ain't Pakistan. The likes of Dhoni, Kohli, Dhawan etc. are comletely different proposition alltogether and then there is certain Stuart Binny. Beating Hindustan will not be easy. But I want to wish your team all the best and hopefully it will be a closely fought series. India ofcourse will win, but lets hope its not one sided like last time.
As far as India's team selection is concerned, I am extremely unhappy. Infact, flabbergasted by the stupidity of selectors. Why would you play the likes of Dhoni, Kohli etc.? They are playing non stop cricket since last november and we have few high profile series lined up against the likes of South Africa & Sri Lanka. Those big boys deserved break which BCCI denied them. Its a shame BCCI only caring about revenues and hence sending the big names.
If you do not give chance to your young players right after world cup against a relatively weaker opposition in a familiar playing conditions, when will you??
If I was Indian selector, below will be my ODI team:
Mayank Agarwal
Shreyas Iyer
Karun Nair
Suresh Raina (c)
Sanju Samson (wk)
Deepak Hooda
Stuart Binny
Axar Patel
Amit Mishra
Bhuv Kumar
Mohit Sharma
This would have been a perfect team for Bangladesh tour but alas I ain't selector.

I am also flabbergasted, stunned, shocked at the stupidity at the Indian selectors. India has such great record in Away test that picking the heavyweights such as Dhoni, Kohli, Rahane is foolhardy (not to be confused with Tom Hardy).
I mean look at this records. For the last 4 years, India has won a mighty 10% of their away test. They have lost at England, AUS, SA, NZ, and England again. But oh wait, they won at Lords in the middle of all those defeats.
I also agree that important series are coming up like SL (with whom India will play after ages, we all can't wait to that once in a decade India-SL series). Kohli/Rohit Sharma will need to score to inflate their averages. (Rohit Shamra after 2 innings in first 2 test in fast pacy Mumbai/Kolkata pitches, have not scored any century for the next 17 tests).
So I would try to preserve that 10% win ratio and rest the batters and make them play at home for the sake of their career and mind boggling averages and go with the IPL young superstars --
Baba Aparajith
Kedar Jadhav
Shreyas Iyer
Jasprit Bumrah
Shreyas Gopal
Abu Nechim
Sarfaraz Khan
Yogesh Takawale
Ankit Sharma
Rajat Bhatia
Iqbal Abdullah
Bipul Sharma
Lokesh Rahul
That leggie Chahal
etc...
I am flabbergested

LUL perfect team to confirm Banglawash! I think Indian selectors
are genius to select the strongest team as possible. Now the games will be competitive. Don't know the results but this would be Clash of Titons in ODI.

Historically, Pakistan overall has a better win% against India(excluding world cup matches)...Pakistan brings their A-game when they verse India for some reason.

Here's to stoke the trolls and the troll-feeders
Conspiracy theory making the rounds:
The original team selection with the stalwarts was just a sham to placate Bangladesh prior to Modi's visit. They already had an exit plan in place - the fitness test that the entire Indian team is to undergo prior to their visit. What will happen is that the entire team will be considered unfit because of various ailments for having been playing so long and will be recommended to take a break for 4 weeks. And so Mufi's team is the team to visit us next month.

I don't think that will happen, but that will be a great news for us, as we will confidently whitewash them confirm champions Trophy and then they will be running after us, To play with their main team do we care actually, who's coming? Any team with an Indian jersey is fine

Whatever be the result, I want a few top Indians be dropped. ICC ranking doesn't really matter anywhere. There's nothing else to lose.

Why do you care about tests played by India vs England in England, vs Australia in Australia, etc.? Hardly a template for you to claim dominance over our team in any format.
Beat us, then we'll talk. Relying on a third party to have you feel good makes you the quintessential character in those Mauka Ads from a couple of months ago.
