They are on a roll now. I thought Barishal had a chance to stop them after scoring 190+ ... But they are a completly different team than they were ... Well played DR... Keep it up.
Today's innings shows how good Junaid can be when he's on song. Unfortunately he just hasn't been consistent enough in his career. He did well in 2010 however averaging a 34 in both Tests and ODIs with 2 centuries and many half centuries but fell away in 2011.
With the #3 spot still open for grabs, I say Junaid has a very good shot at getting it back. SN and Jahurul have disappointed so far in this BPL. If he can be more consistent then Junaid could really be a class player across all 3 formats. Posted via BC Mobile Edition (Blackberry)

Their coach is from Rajshahi too and player like shabbir, and junaid is product of their coach Mashud afaik
mmm Khulna plays with 6 local players !! in fact all the team have to play at least 6 local players as the quota for foreign player is 5 !!!
Rajshahi doesn't have any big names other then Razzak but they are doing it as a team !! A very good team effort !! r Sushy-Mushy to achhei to always encouraging them !!!
Congrats Rajshahi !! I knew you could do well and you did it !!!

I think he meant players from Rajshahi division when he said local player.
Pilot is proving over and over that he's a great mentor. Not sure how good he is technically, but he sure does seem to be able to bring the best out of a unit of players in terms of morale. Often enough that's half the battle won. Maybe we can fire Law after the Asia Cup failure, hire some good batting/bowling coaches and make him head coach? Posted via BC Mobile Edition (Blackberry)

Would be an interesting thing to do. Or do our powers that be are too enamored of foreign talent to do so.
Duronto Rajshahis name out of all Gladitors, Kings, Royals, Burners, should be enough to support them in BPL. Was SR supporter as i was born in that region. Now they are out. You are my team.
DR for the title.

Highest score successfully chased down
Lowest score successfully defended
Only team to beat all other teams in the tournament
Longest winning streak in the tournament
All in the bag of Duronto Rajshahi. They have been the most exciting team to watch for me. Mushy has been excellent. Keeping the spirits up at all times, handling his players well, going over and speaking to his bowlers when they are struggling. They've played as a unit. Mushy-Pilot combo has worked very well. Giving opportunities to guys like Mizanur and Monir who aren't even established domestic cricketers, they have been audacious but it has worked so far. Even the international players aren't superstars but they've been performing. Hope they go on to win it.
Dont know whether this has already been discussed but how do you guys find Mashuds coaching. As a player he was a fighter. He seems to have instilled this spirit in his players also

Yep. My thoughts are along the same lines as ATMR's :

On a different note, Rajshahi's Canadian recruit Rizwan Cheema hit 20 sixes in a practice match today. Will that give him a spot in the team's next playing XI ? Although he is the perennial one-stroke-wonder and I'm a big anti-fan of his, Cheema can surely replace a certain Khalid Latif, and certainly can't do any worse.
