Default Jabed Omer not thinking about the national team.....

The heading says something and when you read his reply on playing for the National Team - that says something else. It sounds like the typical jornalists trying to make something out of nothing!

However, nice to read something about JO.

He just praised Tamim! Said he's doing well coz he's playing extraordinarily.

The wickets in Bangladesh are never going to get fixed. He's complaining about it. Said Fatullah is the exception. Who is in charge of looking after all these grounds? Its ridiculous how they never fix it. This is where u really need an Australian in charge.

Javed Omar Belim Golla is very right about the pitch condition in BD! BCB has been failing in this forever and they don't seem to listen to us people and the players, they never take it into action!

BTW I hope Golla bhai's Puma shoe/sneeker business is rocking!!

JOB Golla? Isn't it Javed?

Is there any use thinking of national team? He was dropped when we didn't have any proper replacement of him in test cricket, we took chances with young boys and many of them are performing. So there is no point for him to think of national team. Good that he understood and hope he can play to his potentials in the domestic circuits. That will be a lot good for him & our domestic competitions.

He's not that old. If he keeps practicing not getting out in the local first-class competition, who knows what could happen.

These type of comments are unwarranted. We should give him credit for realising that his chances of getting back to the team are more or less over. He didn't make any malicious comments against the board or any current players. He just tells his fans to stop expecting him to return to the team. So what's the point of all this rubbish you guys are posting? Just because we had two good series' you have turned ungrateful. Us of all fans should know better.

Sorry to pick on you bangla-red. Some of the posts above were equally bad.

Thank you bujhee kom bhai for understanding my point. You are a funny guy and are also very insightful when you want to be. I thoroughly enjoy your posts.

Now I am no Belim fan but I do believe that everyone who has represented Bangladesh deserves some respect, at the very least from us die-hard fans.

Thanks to Javed Omar for all the services he has provided to Bangladesh. And all the best to him on his domestic career and his business.

Realistic approach by Gollah bhai. Just like his personality, very modest and calm.

Good post equinox.I completely support u.Once upon a time this GOB type of mediocre players were heart of our cricket. They helped others to steer our cricket to cross the river.I do SALUTE U JOB.He tried his best as per his talent.Any way he made a good comment about our pitches. All of our pitches r simply rubbish.Good quality players get fear to play in this type of wicket. How come we think to produce HAYDEN instead of JOB?To improve our cricket we need good wicket and FC cricket.I think our legend Rafique HAS realize our wicket's condition so he wants to be a grounds man.I hope he could do so.But now atleast 5 good quality pitcher r neede and grounds man if we dont have then we need to hire.It seems to me good quality pitches r more necessary any other coaches other than the head coach !

When he was in the team, yes We all used to make fun of him. But now that he is kind of out of the national team, there is no point to beat a dead horse.

But I have to admit, I really admired his heart and his patience (in TEST) despite in his technical capabilities. Still now our current national players may be superior technically, but very few can beat his patience and metal aspect of his strength in national team.

Players like ChaCha, Gullu will always get my respect who gave their all with limited skillset when they played for our national team.... they knew their limitation and try to overcome the short-coming with intelligence and mental strength.

Agree with you...
we should have respect for someone who doned the tigers cap....

just to add a point.......he was easily the best fielder in bd in the pre-test era......and influenced lot of cricketers to take up fielding seriously.....
he had tremendous grit and determination which surpassed his lackings in talent.....
