^^ The tournament has been deferred to March 25. Our first match, against Hong Kong, will be on March 27.
Nasir, Momin, Mithun, and Abul Hasan are selected as four Over 23 national players for our team.

Hoping to see Miraz also in the mix, as he auto qualifies because of his age.

I want Miraz to captain the team. Let him gain some captaincy experience.
Why pick Mithun? or Mominul? I mean I'm sure there are better players around?
Maybe Mithun is recommended by HC?

Like who?
Both Momin and Mithun earned their call ups based on their DPL and BPL performances, not as favor from anyone.

Taijul Islam should replace one of them.
Deserves a chance to prove himself as OD bowler.
Would keep Momin in the team, can't see a replacement for him.

Are they considering Mominul as future captain? If not whose idea was it to make him captain? Guy strugglers in shorter formats and his made captain on what basis?

Mominul as skipper is fine by me. He also captained during his Under 19 days. There is a general idea that he will struggle in limited over cricket, but he's actually quite good during fielding restrictions. So he has to bat number 3, or open like in BPL.

I'd probably pick this xi but swap rahatul/nasum for azmir Ahmed. I think saifuddin, abul, rony, mehedi and afif/nasir are probably enough for the bowling...shanto can even bowl some pace if needed and mominul some spin if needed.

There you go, another spin option. Prob enough bowling there so you can add a batsman, and azmir Ahmed is a hard hitter from my understanding so he'd be a good addition to the xi.

Yes, I would love for them to include this guy into the lineup. The top order has to make a good start and set a foundation for the hitters to come in./

They should have only named players from last 2 U19 and the current U19 team . Winning is not always everything. We should use these tournaments for young players to gain valuable experience. There is no point in Nasir or Mominul to play these tournaments.
