In my opinion, all the national leagues should have the following ten teams:
- Dhaka (greater Dhaka, greater Faridpur)
- Mymensingh (greater Mymensigh and Tangail)
- Rajshahi (greater Rajshahi, greater Pabna and Bogra)
- Rangpur (greater Rangpur and greater Dinajpur)
- Sylhet
- Comilla (greater Comilla and greater Noakhali)
- Chittagong (greater Chittagong and CHT)
- Khulna (greater Khulna)
- Barisal (greater Barisal & Patuakhali)
- Jessore (greater Jessore and greater Khustia)
I think with time these teams will have passionate fanbase and that is the key for the success of any sports event.

^ It's hard to put together that many teams for us. We can find players to come up with a team but it will be quantity over quality. As much as I would love for us to see put together 10 teams in all forms of domestic cricket, we just don't have the players. Just look at the quality in NCL. We have batsman batting at 7-8 easily scoring 100+ but in the international scene they barely know how to hold a bat. If we expand to include more teams the quality of our FC league will go down even more.

^Agreed. We have to face it that we don't have enough quality players for 8 teams in the current NCL let alone 10.
This is why I like the BCL a lot more. You combine 2 of the divisions in to 1 and all of a sudden, the quality improves a lot. We're right now at a stage that we can churn out 4 quality teams. So I feel it's best we continue with the BCL rather than the NCL if we want our FC's to be more competitive.
That does hurt in some way because then the bottom 60 players who cannot make the Zonal teams then end up not playing. I think the best thing to do is have a Division 1 and 2 for the BCL. Division 1 obviously for the best 60 players and Division 2 for the other 60. By the end of the year, if some of the players impress in the Division 2 then they should have the chance to play in Division 1 for the players that underperformed in Division 1. That way you could ensure competitiveness amongst all the players.

I agree, but the pressure and entertaintment part is not there without a passionate fanbase. People of Comilla will not follow the performance of Chittagong and so on. It is like a picnic event with empty stadiums. Fan needs a sence of belongingness to enjoy the competition. Think about Dhaka league of the 80s, there were Mohammedan/Abahoni and also Dilkhusha/Wari. The league was popular. Think about the World cup, there are Brazil/Italy and also weak teams. We do not need all the teams to be strong.

Al-Amin 24 yrs old boy playing in U18 competition. Hashbo na kadbo kisui bhujtesina.
What is wrong with these division boards?
Rangpur Division 43/7(33 ov)
vs Sylhet Division
Dhaka Metro 65/1(28 ov)
vs Chittagong Division
Barisal Division 72/6(40.1 ov)
vs Rajshahi Division
Dhaka Division South 143/0(31 ov)
vs Dhaka Division North

Rangpur was 29-7 and now 211-9.
All the wickets are taken by the 3rd and 4th bowlers...who wants to guess SLAs have taken 99% of the wickets to fall so far. SMH.
Istakul Islam 8-24...most certainly another SLA bowler.
Pacers have taken a combined 0 wickets it seems like.

Yeah I was wondering if it was Nazmul Hossain Shanto the U-19 batter.
Akib Mahmud is the only other centurion, also hit a biggie 140+.
Some Istakul Islam took 8-24, wonder what type of bowler he is.
