Default According to the PAK skipper it was a difficult pitch

CI reports Misbah happy with batting performance on difficult wicket.

Sorry, but they managed to score 135 on this wicket. It's not impossible to bat on this pitch, as Nasir has shown. But, our batsmen played irresponsible innings. (So, what's new?) Two run-outs killed us, so did the LBW of Shafiul to a ball outside the line.

Why you are blaming the players???

Blame the selectors.
Imrul nad Naeem opens for T20???

We should have a seperate T20 team, where the likes of Shabbir and Co. would ne included.

Having both Naeem and Imrul open was probably the biggest FAIL one could blog about. Not sure what the idea was - Imrul would keep the score ticking with streaky boundaries and Naeem hold up one end seeing that the target wasn't monumental? Given his current form, Naeem should only play Tests.

I woke up, took a look at the scorecard, triple face-palmed myself when I saw the names of the first three batsmen in the line-up and went back to sleep. It's ok to give Alok a chance, but you don't play him right after Imrul and Naeem when clearly all three are big-time sissies. Might as well play with 8 men instead of 11.

I am blaming the players for their on-field performance. However, you are absolutely right that our selectors still don't have a clue that not everyone is suitable for all formats. For example, based on their recent forms, I would not want Ash or kapali to be in the test or the ODI team. But, they are suitable for T20, IMHO. The same might apply for Aftab.

Ditto. Selectors and BCB think tank is missing the key notes of T20. As you said, they don't have any clue how to make a proper T20 team, let alone the palyers!

Do not blame the players. It is the lack of practice that caused it. They should have had a few practice matches with their women counterpart. Both of these teams stink at batting but has a reasonable quota of decent SLAs. I fully expect these to be very evenly contested encounters.

totally wrong selection...we don't have any t20 players. i don't think any of our batsman averages even 20 in this format. same ole story.

looking forward to the ODIs and Test to see if we can salvage some pride.

Are you kidding me?

Why would Ash be not at fault? Look, if Ash remained in form and made the cut then he could've very well guided us through. The fact that he's not good enough to make the 11, is totally his fault and the fact that his absence ruined our chance of winning the game makes the loss his fault.

But on a serious note, the team that played the T20 is so bad, even I would love to have Ash (in his worst form) in the team. Farhad Reza, Naeem and Imrul (in his current form) making the team tells you the sorry state of our cricket.
And what selection is this? If we take Farhad Reza (are you f'ing kidding me? he shouldn't even be part of C team), then why take Rubel knowing that we are playing on spin friendly condition. Why not take an extra batsman in Nafees or Zunaid or try out Hom. And as someone already mentioned, looking at the top 3 makes me wanna puke. I really question Law's ability within his short stay so far but not making any judgement call yet. But I do not see any bright light at the end of the tunnel either.....doom days await.
