Threads good or bad?

There are too much thread opened in last week. Is it good for BC? I think threads are good for the popularity BC.
Btw I opened another thread

and it is a poll thread

Sometimes I think mods are too lenient.

Our mods do a fantastic job. Opening thread is not an offense. In time of excitement; there will be lots of duplicate threads. Its expected.

If you have suggestions for thread merge; please post your suggestions and help out the mods. There is a thread for that specific need.

I think considering the huge population of BC members, BC is run extraordinarily. Hats off to the mods.

I think too many threads just makes it hard to follow 1 topic.. There are too many threads about nonsence stuff that really doesnt need a thread of its own.. Im not gonna vote cause I think most threads are good but some are useless..

Threads are always good for a forum, what forum is complete without threads. But I do not like it when there are excessive threads that are meaningless. BC is a forum that is very well organized IMO, never did I see a spam thread last too long here. If we start winning consistently you will see more spam threads out there, but its no big deal, the mods will take care of it :p

If a thread is nonsense, don't follow it. More often than not, you can read the topic of a thread and the user who started it to get an idea of the thread, then you can decide for yourself if you wanna follow it or not.

ie. I try to ignore threads about beatboxing by someone who thinks its a great idea to open a new thread every time he uploads a video on youtube. Even after it was pointed out to him that it is annoying abuse of the forum for self-promotion. So now I know the thread and the user to ignore. Put 3-4 such users in your mental ignore list and bulk of the nonsense threads are gone. They are just visual clutter.
