Default 2008 NFL Draft

"Long" - From Michigan is taken by the Fins already (Offensive lineman). So St. Louis is on the clock. Defensive end Glen Dorsey (LSU) looks to be set for them. Hotlanta next. Here comes the first twist in this years draft.

J-E-T-S wants to trade up and get D-Mac (Darren McFaden - Arkansas). Atlanta is happy with a #6 pick. If that is the case, the Raiders are in deep trouble. They have no idea whom to take at #4.

Certainly we will see the drama unfold. Those who follow NFL whom do you think would be the best logical choice for your team?

Ryan may have a free fall. I thought he was over rated from the very beginning.

I will love it if Jets can get D-Mac. Here is how I think it will pan out:

1. Miami- J Long
2. Rams- C Long
3. Falcons- M Ryan
4. Raiders- G Dorsey
5. Chiefs- V Gholston
6. Jets- D Mac

I don't think Jets should move up. It will be suicidal for Raiders to pick D Mac when they have so many decent RBs. I don't see any other teams moving up for D Mac except maybe Dallas. So if any team move up, they will move up for Ryan if he is still available or for Long or Dorsey if they are available. Jets will get someone good no matter what at number 6.

DE from "The Ohio State".

Sadi,
Al "nut job" Davis will not pass up D-Mac no matter what. Conventional wisdom says, "unless you can meet your needs, take the best player in the draft remaining." he is old school and so unpredictable. D Mac goes to Raiders.

So if the Jets want any part of McFadden then they better trade up to #3 at Atlanta's spot. Yesterday, JETS officials interviewed D-Mac.

By the way, Chris Long is no way near (DAD) Howie Long (Hall of Famer).

I think Rams can't pass up Glenn Dorsey. He is a winner. He could have been last year's first round pick but stayed at school to win a championship and he did. That shows character, class and goal setting determination. Almost the entire season he played hurt. Half season with broken wrist, bruised ankle. I thought he would be the #1 choice in this year's draft. Finally now he is healthy that is a scary thought.

how good is this muslim cornerback from Kansas...Aqib Talib. good specs on him 6-1, 202, ran a 4.44...but the drawback: he's admitted to testing positive for marijuana 3 times while at KU. is he trying to be the next Pacman?

You mean the weed smoking guy? He is good I heard. Off course, I only care about Steelers, and we did OK in the draft. Mendenhall in the first round. Sweed in the second. Anyone know about him?

Jets get Gholston. I am starting to doubt their ability to draft smartly. They surely reached for the tightend they picked in the first round.

What? How about Darelle Revis from last year? That guys was awesome at Pitt and last year with the Jets. Steelers wanted him so bad last year. Gholston is going to be very good. Did the Jets take any QB ? If not, I think that was a mistake. If they have, its my mistake

They have taken Tennesse qb Ainge. Revis is good. So is Davin Harris from last year. I am more talking about the players they have drafted in the lower rounds. I guess I am spoiled from Giants draft success last year.

I'm happy with the Falcons getting Matt Ryan. We need a face of the franchise after the Michael Vick fiasco.

Devin harris was a Monster last year, thats why they traded away Vilma. I didn't understand the Tight End pick, Cause we have Baker and he's good ... I guess 2 TE on the field at the same time to cause mismatches. With all the off season moves, if they chose to Start Pennington there a Wild Card Team. I they chose to develop a QB with an Arm they could get lucky still make the wildcard and let the new QB get experience or risk having a 7-9 season.

I saw him play for Texas. big receiver (6'5") with a soft hand. Excellent route runner. Moves the chain. Not so a deep threat. 4.5 guy decent speed. Big Ben would be delighted to have him.
