‘বড় মঞ্চে নিজেকে মেলে ধরার চেষ্টা করব। লক্ষ্য থাকবে লম্বা ইনিংস খেলার, ব্যাটিংয়ে ধারাবাহিকতা ধরে রাখার। এটা আমার দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বকাপ। অবশ্যই আগে থেকে এবার প্রত্যাশা বেশি। আগে যেসব ভুল করেছি, সেগুলো এবার করা যাবে না।’

‘অবশ্যই ভালো করার চেষ্টা করব। আগে যেভাবে ভালো খেলেছি, চেষ্টা করব এ বিশ্বকাপেও সেভাবে খেলতে।’

‘এটা আমাদের অনেক লম্বা সফর। লম্বা এই সফরটা যেন আমরা ভালোভাবে শেষ করে আসতে পারি, দোয়া করবেন। আমরা চেষ্টা করব ভালো ক্রিকেট খেলার।’

‘প্রথমবারের মতো বিশ্বকাপ খেলতে যাচ্ছি, অনেক রোমাঞ্চিত, সেটা বলব না। আমরা আমাদের দিকে শতভাগ চেষ্টা করব। আগে যে ভুল করেছি, সেটা করা যাবে না। দেশের মানুষের কাছে একটাই চাওয়া, আমাদের জন্য দোয়া করবেন এবং আস্থা রাখবেন।’

‘আমাকে যেহেতু বিশ্বকাপ দলে নেওয়া হয়েছে, আমি চেষ্টা করব টিম ম্যানেজমেন্টের আস্থার প্রতিদান দিতে।’

রুবেল হোসেন
‘বড় স্বপ্ন নিয়ে বিশ্বকাপে যাচ্ছি আমরা। অবশ্যই আমাদের লক্ষ্য সেমিফাইনালে খেলা। আমাদের সবার এই আত্মবিশ্বাস আছে যে আমরা খুব ভালো ক্রিকেট খেলছি।’

‘যাচ্ছি আয়ারল্যান্ড সফরের জন্য। দোয়া করবেন যেন আয়ারল্যান্ডে ভালো খেলে বিশ্বকাপ দলে সুযোগ পাই।’

বিশ্বকাপে ভালো করতে বিশ্বাসই মূল ভিত্তি, আমাদের সেটা আছে। আপাতত লক্ষ্য সেমিফাইনাল। বুধবার রাতে বিশ্বকাপের উদেশ্যে দেশ ছাড়ার আগে বিমানবন্দরে সাংবাদিকদের এই কথা বলেন বাংলাদেশ দলের সহ-অধিনায়ক সাকিব আল হাসান।

Spoke to Sling, although Willow covers lot of sports, Sling does not have the right to show all of them. So, they are broadcasting only ENG-PAK series not the tri series.

I guess I have to depend on internet proxy links for this one. I also canceled my Jadoo Go as they stopped channel 9 midway!

I am not sure why Asian businesses find it so hard to adhere to a service focused model and stick to it!

Ireland sold the TV rights to all games to a Bangladeshi company if I'm not mistaken for the next three years so it'll definitely be broadcast.

Nothing confirmed re:channels yet but at the very least it'll be a TV production broadcast on Youtube similar to our series vs the Afghans last August. The days of relying on scorecards/1 camera streams are gone.

I am yet to find a deal like that for iptv here in canada. Most are 15$-20$ a month here. NOt to mention, that damn box cost about 100 ish. Anyone of you had previous subscriptions with willow/hotstar/etc before?

Willow is not showing in Canada as far I know! They are showing in USA though!
