Pretty cool but next generation should aim for 10,000 per format!

Tamim definitely one of the best openers in world cricket right now in all formats, considering he is only 27 with at least 6-8 years of cricket in him will surely go down as one of the finest modern day openers

Wow, great achievement. ...ten more years and another 10,000 might be ideal.

to me he will always be a batsman than never really reached his potential. Underperformed. Has the talent to be legitimately world class but it is a shame he will never reach that status. One of the reasons for that is because of his fitness.

He has been playing at WC level continuously in all formats and for both country and clubs since the last ODI WC.
Fitness-wise he has improved a LOT since Hathuru took over. Still not in perfect shape yet as evidenced by today's century (looked fatigued after reaching 100 and don't think I saw him fielding), but can't say he's in poor shape either.
I think he'll continue being consistent and keep improving the mental part of his game and, in a few years, will have established himself as a WC opener.

He is practically 29 and has around 5-6 years left in him.
