Little Chottro Gram is no match for Dhaka Shohor.

Field the Brothers Union team, rest the Dhaka Dynamites for more important matches ahead.

Waiting for someone to list all the reasons why Chittagong city is superior to Dhaka, like how Sylhet was claimed to be the superior to Dhaka

Dhaka is dominating the league with help of mercenaries from other districts and countries. At least Chittagong is promoting local talents like Yasir and Nayeem. Dhaka's only local talent to note this edition is Aliss the chucker.

^^Ok, how about this - Dhaka team is owned by Beximco, who also own BCB big bosses like Papon and Sujon. Dhaka's success will be always questioned with them having so much political influence over the league.

On the otherhand, Chittagong is pretty much the only team in BPL that's not backed by an significant political figure. They're the true underdog this edition who's punching above their height.

I think the 8-2 head to head is sinking in you! After all Ctg has the same head to head against Dhk same as a nobody like sylhet

An actual Dhaka derby would be nice. If Gazipur or Naryanganj had a team, that would be super dope.

Agree. Chittagong was a classy name. Change would have been somewhat OK had they spelled it as either Chattagram or Chottogram. But the current spelling Chattogram sounds gay and gives the vibe of 'chaddy' (excuse my dirty mind )

This name change is similar to India's changing the name of port city of Calicut to Kozhikode

I am supporting CV all the way. But Dhaka is very strong. Any chance of Banglar jibonto kingbodonti mega star Sir Mohan Ashraful playing ?

BTW, a few days ago Shakib attended a sonbordhona onusthan for Salman F Rahman . Like him or hate him, Moyna definitely knows who to network with now for his bright political future ahead

There should be only one team per division. Unless another district within the division having potentials to future host games providing they have the accommodations and the requirements. I think Moulvibazar can have a team, theres two 5Star hotels/resorts in Mouvlibazar, place the one in Habiganj is near enough. They have stadium, it needs renovation. Maybe name the team after Sree Mangal. Plus it has touristy places. I think there’s a domestic airport there too not sure though.

Fantastic bowling by Abu Jayed, Double wicket maiden over

It will be a travesty if they pick Taskin over him for the test series

Same goes for Cox’s Bazar. It is already ahead that it has the stadium. Numerous resorts and quality hotels.

Another place slowly booming is Kuakata. But transport is still whacky.
