Very dissapointing day at the office today.
OUr batsmen let us down badly again, but failing to post a competitive target. On this wicket we needed 250 and should have got it but for some foolish and lazy batting.
Shamsu showed fantastic maturity and discipline to open the innings and be the last man out. If only some of his more senior team mates had his level of cricket smarts we would be very successful sooner rather than later.
Dhiman again disspointed, with two foolish shots, managing to dismiss himself on the second attempt. For a player of such immense talent it is very frustrating watching him self destruct regularly.
But the sun comes up tomorrow (today actually) and it is a new day and a new match. We had another good discussion tonight. Enam actually led the meeting tonight and the players have set themselves some goals for tomorrows match as we always do, so let see now if we can reach them.
Our bowlers did the job today and their KPI's indicate that had we had a good total to defend we would probably have won the match or at least made it very close. Unfortunately our batsmen were a long way from achieving their targets and as such we did not build a significant score on a good batting wicket.
The early runs have been common on this tour as the ball does not swing until about the 8th to 10th over when some of the lacqueur starts to come off the ball. hence we score at 5 an over for the first 6 to 8 overs then it becomes more difficult with the ball swinging.
Talha bowled well again today as did Nadif and Rubaiyat. We had several edges and mis hits just land in gaps today, that tomorrow may go to hand.
Hopefully we can put it all together to end the tour on a good note.

Good luck to you coach. We hope the boys will get it together on the last match.
In any event, I think it has been a great tour for our u19. We should have more tours like this in future. Great learning experience for the boys and we also get to see how our u19 is coming up.

Coach, you probably won't read this until after the match, but did we need more spin in the attack? Does Ashim get a chance tomorrow? It seems that Enamul's injury has been a big bonus for England...good luck and we enjoyed the tour regardless of the results...
