Bangladesh can win series-against Australia-miraz
http://www.bdcrictime.com/2017/06/ba...stralia-miraz/
Guys can this is possible? This wont be an easy gig. Specially when you play with sarker n shabbir. We really need to inject experience batsmen like nafees nayeem etc.

off coarse it is possible. Australia knows it too! England team is much better than Australia team. England lost a test match in Bangladesh recently. Australia will loose both matches as they are weaker than England.

Nafees yes, Naeem no. Even as a die hard sabbir fan drop him from Limited Overs except for T20is, because he is probably the best player in t20is. Bat him at 4 or 7 in tests.

We all have personal views, ideas and dreams. But I personally feel that it is good to concentrate on preparation, and prove it in the field, rather than speaking to the media. Many things come back and bite you in the backside when you do not walk the talk. You became a laughing stock.
Bangladesh and and especially Miraz have not accomplished much in international cricket against the bigger teams. It is better to work hard, keep your head down and prove it in the field.
BTW fans can say whatever. those do not count. We, fans and supporters do NOT go out there and play and we do not have to perform in the field. It is all about the playing XI plus the 12th man when sub fielding, so they should always talk less, knowing that most often they cannot perform once entered the Exam room (the field).

We should rather be scared for the reason that we have crushed the Aussie dream prematurely in CT with the help of rain God and gave birth to a low-key semi final against India. They would rather be fuming for a befitting reply in our home soil (May be something like Watto's swashbuckling innings in 2011). Imagine Warner, Finch, Smithy, Maxy all are quite homely to subcontinent wicket thanks to their regular roles in IPL

You are right. Nothing good comes out of saying such things in front of media. Even though the players are having a break right now, they should focus on the series against Australia and be well prepared.

I don't know if Shahid would be ready for the Australia series. He is going through rehabilitation after the surgery.
If he is ready then this could be the preferred eleven:
1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Liton Das
3. Mominul/ Tasamul
4. Mushfiqur Rahim
5. Mosaddek Hossain
6. Shakib Al Hasan
7. Nurul Hasan Sohan(wk)
8. Mehidi Hasan
9. Taijul Islam
10. Mohammad Shahid/Subashis Roy
11. Mustafizur Rahman

3 keepers, eh?
Sohan as keeper, Mushy at 1st slip and Liton at 2nd slip then. We will be invincible in taking catches behind the wicket.

BCB should impose gag order .... all young players should not be allowed to express their opinion against opponent of upcoming series.
Seasoned senior players should only be allowed to answer these kind of questions except for Mushfiq.

Yes BD can. Make sure the wicket is exactly like the ones against England. Good turners, which will be hard for the aussies to bat on.

Tamim
Imrul - solid opener with tamim
Mominul
Mushfiq
Shakib
Mossadek
Liton
Mehedi
Taijul
2 pacers from
Shahid, Roy, mustafizur (if fit, he's in), taskin, Al amin
Maybe Nafees for mominul dependant on form
I personally think this team picks it self barring
Mominul because of form
Litton vs Nurul
The two pacers

Thing is Soumya has been in good form in tests...liton still a great prospect whether it be as a top 3 bat or keeper bat, shanto prob shouldn't be brought back to tests yet but he does have a pretty solid FC record so depends on how far he's come since his debut. But number 3 should prob be either mominul or maybe liton (prob prefer him opening since that's where he normally bats).

1. Tamim
2. Soumya
3. Imrul
4. Mushfiqur
5. Shakib

7. Liton
8. Mehedi
9. Taijul
10. Roy
11. Fizz
Ppl complain about selectors mixing up formats and then you see the fans do the same thing themselves. Soumya has been great in tests so you cant drop him. I would have dropped Soumya from the ODI team.
If Soumya doesn't play well in the first test then drop him for Mominul in the 2nd test. Soumya always seemed like a momentum player to me so I hope his poor form in ODIs doesnt translate into tests.
Mosaddek at 6 in tests will finally show his worth. I expect a big series from him because he will play in a position that he is comfortable with and he will be in a role where he can contribute in a big manner to the team.
Sabbir should not be in tests at all. I actually rate Nurul highly but Liton should be nurtured purely so he can transition into the ODI team nicely
Mehedi, Shakib, Taijul, Mossa is a good spin combo to keep Aus busy. They will do the bulk of the bowling.
We beat SL in SL and Aus lost to SL in SL so we should use that as momentum and inspiration to beat Aus especially since we are playing in home conditions.

Both Soumya and Sabbir are not the type of players that you want in a test team.
Soumya as an opener has scored 4 fifties but he cannot prolong his innings. He just have 1 first-class century playing 44 matches.
It's a waste for someone like Liton Das who averages close to 50 to bat at no.7. He is dong well as an opener in the domestics. If he is given enough opportunities and can settle as an opener in the test side then it is good for Bangladesh.
Besides playing Liton Das as an opener allows us to play Sohan, the best wicket-keeper in the country at no.7. Sohan too has a good fC record playing down the order.
