Mark Richardson just retired from all sorts of cricket. Too much intesity required he says, not the lack of runs as the reason for his retirement. Well..I guess he will spend his idle days now watching DVD's. I hope he bought a few "made in Jingira" ones...

Update (10:15 local time / 9:45 IST) - news is still not good, umpires have had their inspection, the pitch is still not dry enough for play to start, they have decided to take another look at 11:00 local time (Cricinfo).
