There is strong possibility that World T20 2014 will be moved from Bangladesh
I just hope it's false. But cant neglect the possibility. "As per reports, ICC has sent a letter to all 16 Cricket Boards and asked for their views regarding security situation in Bangladesh. There is strong possibility that World T20 2014 will be moved from Bangladesh. Sri Lanka could be the alternate venue to host WT20. The other alternate venues could be India and South Africa." https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...37452913646157

Its Bangladesh buddy. Cricket is the only thing that unites Bangladeshis despite having so many differences. Our political parties will have a break during T20 WC and then they will resume their protest once WC is done. So, cheer up and stop feeding those trolls

As the current situation stands it will be very tough to hold any international event. Each board will be concerned about their security seeing the images of violence on media.
However I hope we host all the forthcoming games in Bd InshahAllah

I am concerned as well. However, a lot can happen within the next one month.

Also, moving tournaments is a big hassle. So, ICC will definitely do it if there is any real risk. But, if the situation settles down, I don't expect ICC to move the WC for the sake of moving.

Given the current situation, ICC is preparing for the worst and it's the right thing to do.

I dont care about the world t20. Ya'll know we're gonna get knocked out by AFG regardless, lol. I just hope our Test series with SL goes on. Any idea if the series can be shifted to SL or neutral ground?

ICC is just taking necessary precaution for the worst case scenario.
I am pretty sure that the tournament will be shifted to India ONLY if things get out of hand in a few months. Shifting a tournament will result in massive losses for ICC and its not like hosting the tournament in India gurantees extra money because TV viewership won't change much.

At the end, Tigers will beat the Afghans comfortably. So, no worries, rather enjoy your holiday season

Ticket revenues will go up. They have bigger stadiums than we do.
