Jacques Kallis to retire after Durban Test
Jacques Kallis has announced that he will retire from Test cricket after the Boxing Day match against India.
Cricket South Africa tweeted the news on Wednesday afternoon. In a statement, Kallis said: "It wasn't an easy decision, with Australia around the corner and the success this team is enjoying, but I feel the time is right. I don't see it as goodbye, I still have a lot of hunger to push South Africa to that World Cup in 2015 if I am fit and performing."

What a legend. Thought he might stick around long enough to have a crack at Tendulkar's century record. One of the greatest allrounders in the history of cricket.

LEGEND! No matter how much we compare Shak vs Kallis, truth is he still 5X better than Shak.
Test cricket will miss him. Can't think what SA will do without him.

He is the only great allrounder in modern era who is comparable to Sobers.

super legend, I badly hope him to score some big runs in his last Test because he has been quite poor lately, and great player doesn't deserve to retire like this.
Like Ricky Ponting who retired when he was in poor form.

Sad to see him go. He's a true legend. He'll be missed in Tests. Big shoes to fill for the big man.
