It looks like our cricket is future is going in reverse.
It's a shame we go 1-1 with the dutch.

But why blame these kids when the country's leaders are clueless.

Netherlands snatched a tense one-wicket victory over Bangladesh to tie the T20I series 1-1, as No. 11 Ahsan Malik Jamil hit the last ball of the match - and the first delivery he had faced - for four.

Jamil came to the wicket with Netherlands needing two for victory, after Abdur Razzak had removed Timm van der Gugten, who had just hit six, off the penultimate ball. The tailender coolly cut Razzak behind point to condemn Bangladesh to a second defeat to an Associate nation in the last three days.

Opener Michael Swart had guided the Netherlands chase but when he fell for 61 from 49 balls, to leave his side 112 for 7, still 17 short of victory with 13 balls to go, it looked like the hosts would fail. Two runs and three balls later they were eight down and come the final over, ten runs were still required. Razzak had only conceded 11 from his previous three but van der Gugten's blow over mid-off was decisive, even though he fell lbw to the next delivery.

Bangladesh succumbed despite winning the toss and choosing to bat, with Tamim Iqbal scoring his second successive T20 international fifty. Mahmudullah was one of the few batsmen to score fluently, adding 41 from 31 balls in a 62-run partnership with Tamim, but Ziaur Rahman was the only other Bangladeshi to reach double figures.

Van der Gugten preceded his intervention with the bat by taking three wickets, as Bangladesh lost their last five batsmen for eight runs off ten balls. Swart and Mudassar Bukhari also claimed two wickets apiece.

Though Bangladesh took wickets at regular intervals and none of the bowlers conceded more than seven runs an over, Netherlands judged their chase to perfection ... just.

We always used to lose to Netherlands in ICC tournament before 1997!

Congratulations to the Dutch. They did it without Doeschate and Kraveze. So, it will get tougher if we happen to meet them in the champinship.

It'll get tougher for them too since the match would be on Sri Lankan pitch.

Too many positives, difficult to write.....

Well played Bangladesh... So what we didn't win, but we have shown positive intent even if we couldn't score runs... Intent wins you matches in T20 not the runs... That way it was a good practice series. I'm

So CONCLUSION of the Europe tour:
Anything less than 6-0 is a FAILURE. BD ending up with 4-2, which is a big .
Okay, starting with a thriller in the 1st game against the Irish. They were fascinating in all 3 departments.
Then, failing to put a big total in the 2nd game. And luckily got away with it. Bowling wasn't up to the mark.
Coming to the final match Vs the Irish. A good start with the bat. But then guess what, wicket start tumbling, and again a last ball finish game. Luck just favoured us anyway.
Then Vs the Scotish. Just poor pathetic cricket from BD. That's really embarrassing.
Yesterday anyways jitse. And today again a big .
This is our preparation for the 20/20 WC. Just a WOW!!!! Being a crazy fan of BD cricket all these damn freakin years, and now eventually sick and tired.

Thanks buddy.
Had enough of 'em. I'm forced to admit all these. By now, the game should be over. No place for BD in the rankings. Let's be fair on others. Teams like Ireland, Netherlands and Afghanistan deserve a chance.

The only good thing about these 2 losses are the boys will be more serious now rather than getting complacent.. Remember what they did in WC 2011 after winning 2 series against NZ n Zim !!! Also the media will stop prasing them now.. Just imagine had they won 5-0 how the media would've gone gaga over it .. oti proshongsha kore last time chhelegulor matha kheyechhe media.. ebar o kheto.. Now let's hope they will try their best...

Today's wicket was not easy to bat it seems.. both the team struggled and lost wickets in regular interval.. The only difference is our tail enders are just useless except Mash.. The moment our tail is exposed we lose the match then and there.. They are not capable of putting in even 10 runs regardless of the format .. .. Of course the responsibility lies on top order and middle order too.. But our tailenders should do some batting practice as well given we are more prone to batting collapses..

Hmmm.......well said.....gotta agree...
Ar bowlers ra toh asei. Lala is outta form for the last 1 year or so. He could've saved us today from loosing the game. Getting whacked for a 6 and a 4 by a tailender is just . Mash starts well, but he ends up giving 20/25 odd runs in his last spell. Some will say that he has come from an injury, so may be a bit rusty. But he has played many games after his come back. And despite Abul bhai. None of our bowlers are in song. Not even Shak. And fielding has been PATHETIC right from the word 'GO'.

mmm Lalla is not out of form.. He is doing much better than Shakib this year.. He takes wicket at the right time and is fairly economical .. I won't judge him by today's last over performance... I think this is the first time he bowled the last over.. he was doing pretty well before conceding that 6 n 4 .. But he is not a deadly bowler who will give you regular wickets... He can check the runs and get you some wicket.. We really need someone like Narine/Ajmal /Murali n a good pacer then we will be able to defend any total just like how KKR did...

This is our WC T20 preparation. With this performance what can we hope from WC T20? IMO nothing. After losing with big margin by Pakistan New Zealand. Already we gain something which is enough for criticise us from the tour. Some body can say this is unknown condition but that isn't an excuse. Because we are a full member. Our crcketers get lot of opportunity which our opponents only can imagin. This result reflects where we stand.
