I think the makeup of your team is good but you need players to put there hands up and be counted. It seems that Mortaza looked unfit to me and should be sent to play in the domestic game to get fitness back. I would stick with the same line up apart from Mortaza for the next game. then if the likes of Aftab etc fail then drop people for the last ODI.

to be honest swann got as much out of the pitch as our spinners but our batsmen r much stupider than the English; u wud have thought that a set of batsmen who r so used to playing spin wud know better; esp. disappointed with shakib here.
and wtf is wrong with our running - why is mushfiq catching this virus from ash and tamim.

Bring Rubel for Mashrafee
Bring someone for Aftab
Bring Shuvo for Razzak
This will solve some problems- probably 30 runs extra. If we had this problem fixed in the first ODI, we could have posted 258 runs- challenging one.

A relatively comfortable win for England, but Bangladesh had their moments. The innings of Tamim Iqbal was excellent but lacked any support at all, which enabled England to continuously pick wickets up. Though the decision to delay the powerplay was poor, England have been guilty of this in the past, and is nonsensical to wait till the end when you have lost wickets as you have the tail-enders trying to make the most of it.
The poor running between the wickets also caused a couple of unnecessary wickets to fall.
Then apart from the three quick wickets they took, they never really gathered any momentum in the field, and the result seemed inevitable. I know Collingwood is probably not too popular on here, following his recent comments, but he batted excellently once more to lead us home. Good start for Captain Cook.

A point on Masrafe Mortaza, he looks to have put on a fair bit of weight, I know he's always been a big guy, but he looks unfit and out of shape. I'm sure he'll be hopeful of avoiding injury for a while so he can shift a bit of excess fat.

Barring Tamim and Naeem, everyone else got a failing grade. We gotta show better performance with the ball.
Lets hope for a better future.

Why does our team line-up change so much ?
Our only problem is that # 2, 3, and 4 are almost non-existant. And that is a BIG problem.

Why did Shafiul bowl only 2 overs?
Why do we always have to take Powerplay at 46th over?
Why is our #3 and #4 batsmen so pathetic?
Why, why, why?

This was a pathetic display from Bangladesh aside from Tamim. perfect batting conditions, Batsmen throwing wicket away, that shot Shakib played to get out was absolutely unnecessary at that stage of the game!!!
AFtab Junaed not contributing at all(i hope for MahmudUllah it was that "off game" that every player has once in a while)
I am ususally one of those BC members who stays calm and despite the stupidity and errors in judgement, backs up our players, but it has reached a point where things are made the easiest of ease, out of the blue cheese we still manage to fudge ourselves up!!!!!
with the brilliant start we got, if the batsmen were a little bit more sensible then perchance 290 or even 350 would have been reached with ease. Because wickets were fallen around poor Tamim Iqbal, we was forced to adjust his gameplay from riskfree Aggression to caution and we lost some runs there too...

Yes I have the same WHY questions...
PLUS
Why our wicketkeeper continue to play sub-par performance and still there is activity to groom a competition for him by BCB?

Auntu bhai wasn't there.
Me, Pasha bhai and Sagor bhai (Offstump) was there.
I was gonna write a report last night, but was way too tired to do so.
At work now, will try to write the match report sometimes later at night.

I hope you write more about the crowd, their comments, expectations.. tings that we are not experiencing rather than describing how Mushfique ran himself out.. cuz we all saw it. Just my opinion. I would be more interested in reading that.. those boys with BANGLADESH letter shirts were having a good time it seemed.. I wanted to be there. so take us there..

England might end up saying that it was a waste of their time coming to BD to see BD play poor cricket against them. I am sure even if BD loses, they want a bit of excitement with a good fight and only Tamim provided that.

The turning point was when they managed to get Mahmudullah out first ball. Had he stayed at the crease for some time, he could've done some damage. It's a shame we still had 4 overs + of unused balls.

if the game was a 45.4 over game, then we would have won. :P
one of the main reasons we lost was the inability to use the 300 balls. Even if we got 25-30 from the remaining 30~balls, that could have made a huge difference.

I think 270-280 would've been a good score. It's a shame our batters got out so cheaply, because the form that Tamim was in, I think he could've smashed his own record.
