Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) picked eighteen cricketers for a three-week long preparation camp for the Bangladesh Under-19 team.
The camp will start from Saturday at the GP-BCB National Cricket Academy in Mirpur and the selected cricketers have been asked to report at the academy building at 5pm today.
The selected cricketers are - Soumya Sarkar, Aslam Hossain and Anamul Haque (openers)
- Al Amin, Mosaddek Hossain, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Rubel Hossain Nuruzzaman, Asif Ahmed (middle orders)
- Abu Zayed Chowdhury, Taskin Ahmed and Dewan Sabbir (pacers)
- Zubair Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Nayeem Islam and Nur Hossain (spinners)
- Zakaria Masud (all-rounder)
- Kazi Nurul Hasan and Liton Kumar (wicketkeepers).

Who is coaching them these days? I strongly believe we should have a good Under 19 Coach like McIness or De Winter. We are seeing the effect of their good work with our current crop of cricketers. I doubt we will make much progress with local coaches. Not that i dont have any faith in any local coach, but the job requires someone who can bring a lot of professionalism and discipline.

what happened to Tassamul Haque, Mominul Haque, Sabbir Rahman and Abul Hasan? I want to us to win the 2012 world cup. I hope we send out our best players.

^They're too old.
Anamul, Asif and Nur are the more experienced players in the squad. I'm guessing one of them will be the new captain. Shoumya, Nurul Hasan and Liton Kumar Das are the ones to watch out for.

Abul Hasan Raju has injury. And BCB was thinking of sending him to Australia (read it somewhere) but dont know what happened afterwards
