We should open a poll and know what most of us think about which position does Nasir deserve and will fit perfectly.

That's a fair point. However, I would suggest having Mushy at #3, Shakib at #4, and then Nasir could bat at #5. Mushy and Shakib are also batsmen in form and at the same time are really experienced. So let them bat earlier and ahead of Nasir. Nasir at the same time would get pltenty of deliveries to get his eye in and make a big score.

Exactly my thought. As we are missing a solid basmen in # 2, #3 and #4 and the way the selectors has selected the squad for this series the only option to fill up these positions is by moving the entire middle order and lower middle order up. That way Nasir will get a chance to score big without feeling the pressure of batting at the top.

The team should be: 1. Tamim 2. Imrul/ Nafees ( I don't want to see both of them playing the XI in the same match) 3. Mushy (he could even open with Tamim, he did well in the past once when he opened) 4. Shakib 5. Nasir 6. Riyad 7. Naeem 8. Alok 9. Sunny 10. Rubel 11. Shafi (I wish Nazmul was given a chance )

Top scorer for Bangladesh in every match so far....

Maiden Century, what a way to make the opposition pay for their dropped catch. Oh and well done on showing up the older, more experienced knobs in the team.

Nasir

The most remarkable thing about his knock was the shots that he played, the boundaries that he picked up (the only really cheeky boundary was the one that got him to hundred) - and the ease with which he picked out singles when the master himself, Shakib, was in all sorts of mess. Oh - and the unnerved manner in which he thwacked Afridi - to get to 96 from 86 in two balls.

This boy has taken up a lot of weight on his shoulders - of expectations of millions. Let's hope and pray that he can carry it off.

Here's a toast - to many more acts of great bravery, to gallant fight-backs in the face of sure defeat *raises imaginary wine-glass*

Let's hope that if he is pushed up the order we will have fewer 'sure defeat scenarios'!

What I really loved was, how muted his celebrations were. He was obviously happy, who wouldn't be? But he knew how little it meant, since his side were getting an absolute pasting.

Team before Personal glory.

Nasir - just don't let the hype get to you, keep working hard, and stay away from some of the 'senior players' aka senior LOSERS. Their negativity and general crapness, is infectious.

Great 100!!! We finally have a finisher in our hand.. we finally have a Bevan/Misbah/Dhoni in our lineup. #6 position should be his for as long as possible.

so far our batting lineup

1. Tamim
2. xx?
3. xx?
4. Mushy
5. Shakib
6. Nasir
7. xx?
8. xx?
9. Razzaq
10. Shafi/Nazmul
11. Rubel

I think we can bring back Jahurul for opening position. Asif maybe a good prospect for #3. Mahmudullah can get couple more chances at #7. #8 position is saved for Mashrafe when he returns.

What do you guys think?

I don't like how there are like 8 Nassir theads going around. I really think that's a jinx! That's how we kill our players! Mods, if you have a heart, please merge them. And if you need a "proper" reasoning then here it is, "they don't bring anything new to table, that a OT doesn't already cover"

Nasir,"I thought it was 98. After Riyad vai told,I looked at the scoreboard that it's 100 actually.T hen I asked him how to raise bat.Riyad vai told me to raise bat in whatever way.I raised in my own way....I think little about cricket. It doesn't matter my future will be great or not....This hundred is valueless, mental satisfaction only."Lack of emotion of Nasir....V ery much like Shakib.... Hope he can emulate or pass him.
