The fact that he fared worse than "proven mediocre" Shaful says a lot.

Couple of years ago, I was wondering about the WORST "specialized" bowlers in test history among ones that played at least 10 tests. Rubel was a strong contender with an average of 78 ! Now, it looks like Taskin will give Rubel a stiff competition if selector/management keep on picking him. After 4 tests, he is averaging 80+. Frankly, I don't see himself pushing that down unless he develops drastically - both his skills and grit.

As awful as Rubel has been in Test, it is hard to be worse than Taskin. On top of that, Rubel has improved a bit from his early days of playing test cricket - both in control and in use of the old ball. So, Rubel might be slightly less pathetic option.
I'd drop taskin for Roy

Rubel is not better than Taskin, rubel doesn't threaten, taskin was poor this game, but every other game he's had many dropped chances, he was excellent in one of the games in new Zealand, Rubel has never improved, he also played great recently and he did what he always does, bowl on 6th stump and go at 3.5 an over for 20 overs

It is beyond idiotic to leave Roy out

Where's al amin, where's Shahid

Makes no difference in the end when your captain doesn't give you the new ball away from home and gives you no tactical advice, taskin is not the smartest, he needs a mentor, Walsh isn't one and neither is mushfiq

After rain pitch offer for the pacer.... but liton should've come instead of Riad because he's a opener.
One bad decision (toss) ruined all the hard work bd has been putting up on the World cricket frame.
They didn't even played like this in newzeland..... I guess sakib does matter.

Anyway guys, seriously...Don't be too hurt, it is just a game.
And after all it is our team. You can never expect (too) much from them.
Too bad Shakib was not playing, he makes a tremendous difference.
Best of luck to Team Bangladesh on the next match.

Another very important thing guys, do not pin too much hope on the Bangladesh team, or even spend too much of your precious time on it. Once you lose your time from your life, you don't get it back. If you and I do not play and take part in a game, or play sport, but just follow it, support it, watch it, it is not good for our own health. Let's play cricket or a sport ourselves, let it be friendly over the weekends, and let's exercise, run and swim every evening, if you can. That will improve and do some good to your/our own health.
Also, bhais and apus, take care of your own life, family, friends, neighbors, school, job and business. That's more important. If you believe in God and have faith, pray, do jikr and meditate. Eat healthy. Drink lots of water. Read books and pick a healthy hobby. Meaning, do not despair over a team's performance or on a result of game, that you and I have NO control over, whether the game is at national, club, college team or whatever level. I am saying all these, just because I have been here with you all for a while and I love conversing with you all, joke with you all, and you guys/BC give me lots of pleasure on a daily basis. And of course, you all have good energy in you. God bless.

And to think Mushfiq tried to shamelessly defend his decision after day 1 by saying that any team would bowl first in South Africa..

It was a horrendous decision. Might as well have forfeited the game. It's a shame Mash can't play test cricket.

When you need babysitting the losers every now and then, then its better to have a authoritative coach like Haturi. Enough of Mushi the test captain, its time to hand it to Shakib or Tamim, they wont do any worse, instead would be more motivated.

What an uncool thing to say

Kohli gets so much hate for being arrogant yet he never ever belittled his opponents off the field.

Faf is an idiot, have no respect for the opposition whatsoever. Not that our gadhas deserves any respect but still as the leader of the opposition team he shouldn't have said that.

Perhaps it's time for u to realise that test cricket is totally different from odi cricket. We r a minnow in test cricket.

Our batters aren't technically sound enough to bat for longer period. What can mushy do? Will he teach them how to bat properly?

Our bowling attack particularly the pacers r worse than the pacers from other minnows and associates like Ireland and Zimbabwe.

A bowler like fizz who can't swing or seam the ball an inch is the leader of our bowling attack. No wonder our bowling attack is absolutely pathetic.

Very well said dear Zaved bhai.

I have not watched a single ball of this match. Not one ball.
Watched some good football matches over the weekend.
