The immaturity of this forum is beyond belief.

Women should not be objectified in such a fashion. In the case of Sabina, it is inherently obvious that some members who are quite clearly anti-muslim have other agendas and have sought to denigrate this girl, through this and other topics. It should a source of pride for Bangladeshis that Sabina of such tender age have done so much, had the strength of will to fight for her belief, when it would have been so simple to kow-tow to the dictates of various authorities.

Shame on you

One wonders why do you still keep posting in this forum? Its highly insulting for you to say that the members of this forum are immature, just beacuse some don't agree with your viewpoints. Have you ever heard of the term "tolerance"? or, respect the ideas of pluralism? I doubt it. Refrain from disrespecting other people.

What is the big deal of having some fun? They want to take a poll about these two girls. Let them have it. Why do you must lecture everybody on rights and wrongs? Shame on you.

Arnab,

I do not believe any women should be objectified in this fashion.

It is inherently disrespectful.

Default Mirza bowled over by Akhtar

Mirza bowled over by Akhtar
Agencies . Mohali
Shoaib Akhtar may not have set alight the cricket series yet but the Pakistani speedster has already won an admirer in tennis ace Sania Mirza.
Sania, in the city to watch the second Indo-Pak one-day cricket match at Mohali on Thursday, said she liked Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi as well but the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ stood apart because of his aggression.
‘Shoaib Malik is good and I also liked Afridi for a while. But personally, I like Shoaib’s (Akhtar) aggression. He is a great cricketer,’ Sania said at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association stadium on Wednesday. The Hyderabadi said it would be her first India-Pakistan ODI on Wednesday.

Once again we have a thread discussing TO VEIL OR NOT!

Here's a short related story .

An aged British accounting client of my Mom's went to BD recently. When he got back to UK, he was telling my Mom - "I was surprised to see that Bangladeshi girls are so modern. Seeing the Bangladeshi girls here, I had a different view."

*Bangladeshi girls over here..mostly Sylethis wear Hijabs, Burkhas and scarfs.

Bottom line is you don't have to wear Hjab or scarf to show that you are Religious. You can dress decently and still be Religious at heart.
I lived in Kuwait for 6 years. They don't wear hijabs. ( Ok.. the old ladies wear scarfs) So, is a Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Indian more Muslim than them that they have to wear Hijabs????

What a load of trash. The report merely quotes her saying that she likes Shoaib's aggression. And the opening paragraph and report heading makes it sound so saucy... as if Sania wants a date. Pathetic

Btw, cisco-guy , Sania is a Tennis player. Do you expect her to wear Hijab and play Tennis? Hijab is not suitable for playing such type of sports, you know

Why do we have to compare ourselves with Kuwait, of all places? If anyone wants to wear Hijab it is upto them
