The sweets that Puck presented in the pics are really tasty. I have eaten all them, since I am in Qatar, and Arab people like these types of sweets, but learnt its name BAKLAVA just today. Thanks puck for the thread.

since you ate baklava in the middle east, i would assume it should be totally authentic rather than what i have to buy in uk. i used to have fresh baklava from a greek shop called katerinas but unfortunately, the lady in question retired two years ago, and went back to greece with her family. so i only get clingfilm wrapped baklava now from a middle-eastern corner shop

I also ate baklava but I never knew that it was called in this name,yes it is very tasty.

Not my type of sweet. Has too much nuts. SOME bakhlavas are good...but some are just too nutty.
